"Dramatic Views" is a nautical retreat in Lake City, MN with dramatic views of Lake Pepin. The main floor has a large living room with a wonderful bay window and window seat that offers amazing views of Lake Pepin, sail boats and paddle boats, eagles and the bluffs of Wisconsin. There is a queen leather sofa bed and lots of additional seating, plus a large flat screen TV and an electric fireplace. The living room can be closed off by the drift wood sliding barn door to convert the living room into a fifth bedroom. The large dining room is furnished with a custom made farmhouse table that easily seats 12. There is also a first floor bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed, along with a large tiled bathroom with an over-sized step in shower on the main floor.

The remodeled kitchen features granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a unique Café space off of the kitchen with a pass thru counter between the Café and the kitchen. The Café features a counter height gathering table that seats 4. It's the perfect space for that morning cup of coffee for the early risers of the group, dining, games, cocktails, and of course, just hanging out. A large laundry room/pantry is just off of the kitchen and has great additional storage for all those vacation goodies that everyone brings.

Off of the Café towards the rear of the home is a second large living space or "family room" that features another flat screen TV, lots of seating and a beamed ceiling. The family room also has a dramatic view of Lake Pepin with a second wonderful bay window and window seat. Just off of the family room is a three season porch and off the other side of the family room is an attached garage.

Outside you'll find lots of outdoor seating, two fire pits, a weber gas grill and a patio table with umbrella. This arrangement offers the perfect outdoor setting to relax, relive the fun day and to enjoy family, friends and the dramatic view of Lake Pepin all over again!

The second floor has three additional nautical bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, a flat screen TV and dramatic views of Lake Pepin and the beautiful bluffs across the lake. The second bedroom is a charming room with two twin beds tucked into their respective alcoves. The third bedroom or the "Crew Quarters" is a large room with a queen bed, two twin beds, a flat screen TV and a seating area. The upstairs also has a full bathroom with a tub/shower.

All linens are provided and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need. We know that you will find this home spacious, comfortable and the perfect venue to bring family and friends together!

The entire house and yard are available to you and your family during your stay! The driveway can accommodate 5 vehicles and there is ample parking on the side street.

Even though this looks like a new listing, "Dramatic Views" is an existing 5 star vacation rental through VRBO since 2014 and we are experienced hosts. We owned The Meier Inn, a 5 star Bed and Breakfast in Wisconsin for many years.
