The main floor has three bedrooms with two king beds and a queen. The basement features two more queen beds, plus a double bed with a trundle stored underneath. Utilize an inflatable queen to sleep up to 15 people! The home includes three full bathrooms, plus a half bath off the main living area, with an oversized water heater to minimize issues for large groups.

The fully stocked kitchen features stone countertops and stainless steel appliances — including a gas range! — plus everything you'd expect in your own home. A Keurig and drip coffee pot are provided to get you going in the morning!

The crown jewel might just be the back yard. Located just outside the heated/cooled 4-season porch is a beautifully landscaped area that includes two seating areas with a fire table and two grills — gas and charcoal. There's plenty of green space for activities, but a tall privacy fence allows for casual conversation to run late into the evening. Great place to stay with a group

This house is a gem to stay in. It has a great layout with plenty of room to spread out in and sleep. There are great gathering places outside, also. The house is just about anything you need. Brett does a great job communicating and making sure all is well. The walk to the lake is a nice morning walk and close to the house.

Great property. Very clean, up to date decor, great use of space. Good space for 8 people, very comfortable. Outdoor space very nice. Loved the gas fire pit area. Multiple sitting areas. All great. Liked the multiple coffee pot options, single and multiple cup option.

Amazing VRBO in Lake City, MN

We were on our annual cousin trip & LOVED our stay in Lake City. The house was perfect. Very roomy & comfortable. There was absolutely nothing negative we could say about it. They thought of absolutely everything! We would highly recommend this house and would love to stay in another VRBO that Brett hosted!

Fabulous Venue....

Can't say enough about this special VRBO! 10 of us grew up together in Plainview and were looking to be close to our roots! Our connection to Lake City was an easy fit and finding the Garden Street Retreat was perfect! The amenities were endless......great space, comfy beds, lots of indoor, outdoor space and a great connection to the owner for questions ....etc. We loved it! Lake City has lots to offer. So for those looking to explore southeastern MN.......this is your place!!!

Perfect Location & Thoughtful Touches!

We had a great time at the Garden St. Retreat! It was the perfect location to explore Red Wing, Wabasha and the Wisco side of the river. The house is darling, very clean, modern and so well appointed. It's so welcoming and there is plenty of space! We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend!
