We were a group of 8. This house was great for a bigger group: lots of social space and also places to go for a little alone time. Kitchen was good for cooking for a group and the grill was great. Outdoor spaces were comfortable and attractive. The house (especially the kitchen) had lots of extras to make things easier. I would go back anytime

This house was perfect in every way for our family reunion. There was so much space with plenty of beds for everyone to sleep. It was spotless with endless amenities. There were beautiful seating areas for sunsets, sunrises and just relaxing. Proximity to the marina, beaches, parks and coffee shops were a luxury. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and will return.

A perfect place for our family! From the great outdoor seating (both backyard and front), to how close we were to the lake and downtown, your house was so accommodating, comfy, and cozy! Really enjoyed the story of who owned it first and how you refurbished and repurposed! We hope to be back again! Thank you!

Exceptional property and couldn't ask for a better house for our Girls' Getaway with 13 women. The house was super clean, as were the patios and outside gathering areas. Beds, comforters, linens and pillows were all of very high quality and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for that many people and has multiple coffee machines, from a Keurig, regular drip maker and a huge coffee maker. Two living rooms with super comfortable couches and chairs and the dining room was great with enough room for all of us to eat and play games. There was also hand soap, shower products, dish soap, garbage bags, etc. Very well supplied.Communication was excellent with immediate responses. I have stayed at multiple VRBO rentals and this was a treat. We all loved the house, highly recommend it and will look at staying here in the future.

Perfect for a family gathering!

We very much enjoyed our stay! Brett was extremely helpful, and the check-in/check-out process was seamless. The house itself had modern finishes and was large enough to accommodate our family comfortably. The quality of the beds, bedding, towels, kitchen supplies, etc. was top-notch. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Perfect Location & Thoughtful Touches!

We had a great time at the Garden St. Retreat! It was the perfect location to explore Red Wing, Wabasha and the Wisco side of the river. Highly recommend! It exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully remodeled with attention to the details that ensure a comfortable environment for a wonderful vacation experience. Nice open floor plan with tastefully decorated common spaces, an very well stocked kitchen designed for cooking and entertaining! Really nice outdoor entertaining space as well. It was a short walk to the marina for a sail on beautiful lake Pepin and watch the sun go down.
