Had a wonderful time tbh is weekend! Just far away from “real life” to be able to fully relax, but be near grocery and such. My kids loved the bunk rooms and the outdoor space.
Host was fast to respond, property was quiet and peaceful after days of exploring. Property was clean and comfy! Would definitely stay here again if we ever make it back!
Everything was super easy from communication to check-in to information about the cabin. It was lovely. We did get snowing, and Rachael was great about helping us to extend our stay by a couple of days.

Thank you so much and we are glad you had a great day. We would love to host you anytime again. Safe and fun travels to you.
Our stay here coincided with a large snow storm. It was incredibly beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of our time in this cozy cabin. The host was great at communicating with us and answering questions during our stay. We would definitely stay again if our travels bring us back this way.
This was our second time staying at this property and once again it did not disappoint. We enjoyed playing card games, watching movies, playing in the snow, and hiking around the lake nearby. The owners communicated with us beforehand about the road conditions and also worked with us to resolve some property damage that occurred during our stay. We will definitely try to stay here again.
Beautiful home with plenty of space for the whole family. Lots of dishes, spices, towels, and bedding to accommodate. The guest house is a great space to let the teens be teens while the adults enjoy the main cabin. Fantastic outdoor options and space to bring everyone back together in as well.
Would definitely come back!

Thank you Kristi!! We hope to have you stay again!
We had a great time at this cabin. Only downside was the floor heating did not emit enough heating to keep us warm after snowing up at the cabin. We called the owners and they were great at helping us find some other heat sources in the house and responded promptly and even checked on us the next morning. Very cute property and family friendly cabin. I would recommend staying here.

Communication was friendly and easy throughout our stay, and the hosts were responsive and welcoming.A few things future guests may want to know: the property uses well water, which we didn’t realize until after arrival when we noticed a sulfur-like smell. While we purchase bottled water for drinking and cooking, It would have been helpful to know this in advance, especially since nearby stores were closing on our first evening. If you’re visiting during the summer, keep in mind there is no air conditioning. The house receives a lot of direct sunlight and can become quite warm. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, dishes, a coffee maker & filters, salt, pepper, and a variety of cooking essentials. Guests who use sugar should bring their own. We also encountered a couple of persistent wasps around the outdoor seating and cooking area, which made it harder to fully enjoy meals outside. Given the wooded setting, adding wasp traps could improve the experience.Amenities included Wi-Fi, an Amazon Fire TV, ample sleeping space, lots of outdoor seating, heater, and a charming bunkhouse that would be great for kids or larger groups. The home also had heat, cozy blankets, basic first-aid, board games, and bug spray. From the way the space is equity it is clear the owners care about the space and use it themselves with their family. Overall, I would recommend a stay during cooler months.
I’m a realtor. I have stayed in several vacation rental homes and have some myself. However, these owners charged us for rodents as well as damaging mini blinds that were already damaged when we arrived. Do not stay at this place.

Hi Cassandra. As you can see we have all great reviews and you are the first one that isn’t. I’m sorry you feel this way however I messaged you several times asking you to close the screen doors as we stated numerous times in the instructions and you ignored my messages. Our cabin is in the woods and it is important to keep the screen doors closed and I ask every guest to please acknowledge this and you didn’t adhere to this. The blinds were not damaged when you arrived.

Cute and cozy
Overall our stay was ok. The property was cute and Rachael was prompt and helpful in communication. The home/bunkhouse did have plenty of beds but the layout of the cabin was kind of funky and cramped. Our family of 6 couldn’t be in the living area/kitchen at the same time without rubbing elbows. The property was slightly difficult to find, as there is no cell service once you get off the main highway. Wifi at the property was sufficient. Not sure our family would stay here again, but that’s more of a personal preference given the size of the property, it only having one bathroom and lack of dishwasher but all these things were known beforehand and may not be an issue for a smaller family.
Our group enjoyed the cabin and forest in this cool and quiet part of the Walker community. Plenty of spaces for group or private retreat, the highlight being comfortable decks and a range of outdoor spaces. Appreciated the kitchen stocked with basics and more, including sundries and spices. Cabin interior is basic, but no problem as outdoors was where we spent our waking hours. Single bathroom was no big issue. Bunk beds great for kids, but lower bunks fine for adults. Stairs and steps could be challenging for less mobile.
