About this property
Ponderosa Cabin Summa
Summary:
The spacious Ponderosa Cabin retreat is located close to The Inn at Mazama and the endless Methow Trails network.
The Space:
This spacious three-bedroom, lodge-style cabin blends classic Northwest charm with modern comforts.
The great room features high, wood-paneled ceilings and a rock fireplace with an inset propane stove. Furnished with two couches and an easy chair arranged around the fireplace, and a dining table with seating for six. The open, well-equipped kitchen is part of the great room, making it easy to cook while staying connected to those in the living area. French doors open onto a large covered porch with vaulted gables, outdoor dining table and chairs for six, and a gas grill.
The primary suite, located off the living area, has a king bed, an en-suite bathroom with both a soaking tub and a walk-in shower, and its own private porch with deck. The two additional bedrooms, each with a queen bed, are located off the main corridor. The guest bathroom includes a tub with shower over.
The slate-floored entryway includes a large bench and an area for coats and outdoor gear. Just off this space, there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer for guest use.
The cabin’s log features, wood siding, and lodge-style details give it a classic Northwest feel. The great room offers plenty of space and a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests staying in the home. The cabin is conveniently located a short walk from the Mazama Store and the Mazama Pub, with Nordic ski trails accessible just next door at the Inn at Mazama.
Other Things to Note:
Please take the trash to the garbage bin at The Inn as the trash can on the front porch should only be use for short durations due to bears.
The Inn Pool - guests of our cabin may use The Inn at Mazama outdoor pool (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day) and tennis/pickleball court located at 15 Country Road in Mazama. The cost to use the pool is $10/guest/day and you should check in at the front desk before heading to the pool. The Inn also has a co-working space and private offices available to rent by the day in case you need space to work during your stay.
