- We provide starter supplies for our guests: 1 single use shampoo and bar of soap per bathroom, 1 sponge, 2 dishwasher tablets, 1 laundry detergent packet, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 small liquid dish soap, and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. 2 trash bags for kitchen trash can, 1 trash bag per trash can located outside in the bear cage (total of 4 trash cans outside) All other cabin supplies will need to be provided by the guests i.e. charcoal, etc.
- We ask guest only who have experience with wood fireplaces may operate this amenity due to extreme fire hazard from misuse. DO NOT USE LIGHTER FLUID and only self igniting firewood which can be purchased at Kroger.
- bring bottled water and ice.
- in the mountains of east Tennessee you will encounter wildlife, not limited to bears, deer, rodents, raccoons, critters, etc., these are normal and usual for all of East Tennessee

We really enjoyed our visit. Such a lovely cabin! We had bears visit several times! We will definitely be back! Everything was clean, the host was friendly and nice to work with. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. I would bring a nice skillet from home next time as the two here are really light weight. If you are looking for a great place to stay, THIS IS IT!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the cabin, the hot tub, and especially the bear visits! We also wanted to share a few recent improvements for future guests. We’ve completed the needed repairs to the deck around the hot tub, leaving it refreshed and in great condition. We’ve also trimmed and removed select trees to open up and improve the mountain views, and we recently replaced the A/C unit with a brand-new system. We’re continually investing in the property to make the cabin even better for our guests. We appreciate the feedback on the skillets as well and will take a look at upgrading those. Decent stay, but if you booked for the views you will be disappointed. Trees are overgrown and need trimming. Our stay started off with a few issues but host responded right away and issues were taken care of. Property inside and out needs a thorough cleaning. If you want to see bears you will see many. While we were watching tv one afternoon a bear came across the deck to check things out then left. Make sure your car doors are always locked, we saw dirty bear paw prints on the handles every morning. Location is great, you are close to hiking, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and watching the neighborhood bears visit frequently. Location was very convenient. We did have a slight issue with the linens for one of the beds, but they handled it very promptly once we notified them. Highly recommend!

It was an okay stay overall. We could tell the cabin had been updated in some areas, but it definitely needs some TLC. The listing photos were misleading. There was no clear mountain view because of the overgrown trees, the bedrooms did not match the pictures, and there was no picnic table by the outdoor fire pit as advertised. The beds were comfortable, but the downstairs bedroom had a musty, moldy smell, and the vent was long overdue for a cleaning. Despite the misleading listing, we still had a decent stay. Pool access was a huge plus and we definitely saw a lot of bears up close on the property. The cabin served its purpose by providing a comfortable place to sleep and a warm shower after spending most of our time outdoors enjoying the area rather than at the cabin itself.

Cozy cabin with beautiful view, and we had bears visit almost daily! We loved the air hockey and foosball tables. Host was very accommodating, and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was great and perfect for our small group vacation. We had a group of 7 and that was a good size for the shared space, and we didn't even use the downstairs rec room that much so a larger group would also have enough space to spread out with the porch access as well. The view is great, the setting is peaceful, and we were about a 45 minute drive to everything we wanted to see. A heads up for any future guests: the kitchen is well stocked with cookware but the knives are super dull so if you're planning to do any meal prep, I wish we would have brought ours from home. But that's certainly not enough to take away from the overall wonderful stay we had at the cabin. I would definitely stay again if I am in the area.

Amazing cabin high in the mountain with lots of bears!

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. We loved every minute of the cabin! We had 7 people stay at the cabin and had plenty of space for everyone. We saw bears every day. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The AC worked great, and we all had hot water for showers. Papa Wolf was wonderful and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The road to get to the cabin was challenging for us, but once we learned how to navigate it, we had no problems. I would 100% stay here again.

Some cobwebs in rooms and on fans. Some pans in kitchen were rusted and/or so scratched that they should be thrown out. Otherwise, the place was average. The property is high on a hill, so not necessarily good for walking our dog, but we made it work. As advertised, we did see bear; several, in fact. There was plenty of room with 3 floors and a bedroom on each floor.

Excellent view with plenty of room

We had 4 adults and 4 kids stay at the cabin. There was plenty of room and the kids had their own space downstairs with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom down there along with a pool table and tv. Everyone enjoyed the stay and we even got to see a bear passing through the yard. Cabin was clean with plenty of amenities.

Great Cabin

Cabin was clean and in good shape. There was a minor issue with the hot tub that was addressed and resolved right away. Mechanical things break, but they had it resolved right away. Best part was we had a bear in the driveway as we were leaving.

Beautiful cabin!

Beautiful cabin that met our needs! Roads up to the cabin are strap and were iced over so we had to park 2 vehicles at another location because they couldn’t make it up to the cabin. Previous renters left trash on the back porch and ground which makes me wonder why I had to pay over 200 in cleaning fees if they didn’t clean after the last renters. Otherwise a great cabin! We had a great time!

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, bear activity is common in this area, and they occasionally get into trash bins and drag debris around the surrounding properties. We do have routine visits from local wildlife due to the proximity to the Smoky Mountains. Regarding the cleanliness, we work with Smoky Quality Cleaning & Maintenance, a reputable local company we’ve trusted for over five years. They consistently do their best to ensure the interior of the cabin is thoroughly cleaned, and we’ve generally had great results with them.
