Welcome to 116 Diamond Hitch! This New Moonlight Basin home is in a prime location with spectacular views of Lone Mountain, the Madison Range, and beyond! Enjoy your days outdoors in the beautiful Montana mountains any season. In the evening, gather in the living room for family game night. Board games, puzzles for all ages, cards, and children's books are in the coffee table which slides open.
Ski out - Take trail located on the right side of the home. For beginners ski from the mud room towards the tunnel at front of the home - it allows for flatter ski access to the trail. For advanced skiers - access to the trails straight out the back.
To ski into the home from Swift Current Lift - Six Shooter Lift - Iron Horse Lift. Follow signage to Blue Moon. Ski down Blue Moon and look for the trail that goes towards Diamond Hitch Homes. Do NOT ski all the way to the bottom of the Blue Moon run. After you veer right toward Diamond Hitch, look for the 2 trails that converge. Take the left trail, a good “landmark” to look for is signage that says “Watch for dogs”, which will be at the entrance. Go past the stop sign and under the ski tunnel and you will see the home first on the left after the tunnel. The red dot on the map is where the home is located.
In the Summer, enjoy a short drive to the celebrated Beehive Basin trailhead. Beehive Basin is a moderate trail that leads to a mountain lake, where hikers can relax while enjoying the wildflowers and surrounding mountain views. This custom home is also located near Big Sky Resort, which offers summer activities for all ages!

Additional Notes We are a local property management company. So if there is anything you need before, during, or after your trip, please let us know. There is a security camera located on the front of the home, looking at the garage and the driveways exteriors. The second security camera is located on the rear of the home facing the backyard.
This home does not have air conditioning.
Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.
Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4 wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

We rent a ski-in ski-out house for 10-12 people every year and this was one of the best! The location on the mountain is fantastic and the house is beautiful and had everything we needed. It's a great layout with ensuite bedrooms and plenty of seating for hanging out together after skiing or other daytime activities. Highly recommend.

Fantastic view overlooking valley and snow capped mountain range through expansive windows in living and dining room. The layout is open. Kitchen well stocked. Well appointed rooms, very comfortable for large families.
location and ski in ski out feature was great. Nice quality property. Only issues were that huge pile of garbage in garage when we arrived that was not picked up until next day, garage drain stopped up so mud and water pooled in garage, deck and hot tub areas not shoveled when we arrived.

We were a group of 10 friends celebrating 60th birthdays. The house was beautiful with amazing views and was well-appointed. The kitchen was completely outfitted making breakfast and dinner prep very enjoyable. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in Big Sky!

Great property and as advertised. Two Pines was marginal. They literally wouldn’t allow us to check in even 30 minutes before 4:00. So we stood outside in the cold waiting for 30 minutes. At 4:00 we checked in to find that the property was only half vacuumed and we couldn’t find the check in binder because it was misplaced and tucked away out of sight. Fairly annoying way to start our vacation. Otherwise, the property was beautiful. Amazing views and really nice ski in/out….literally from the back door.
