Great beach front property with Large patio

Very clean, and the best access to the beach you can get. Everything is very simplified so its basically ypu are right at home from the moment you arrive, till tje day you check out. We will definately return to this unit on our trips down to s. Padre.

Beautiful condo and great location! Our only (small) complaint is that the pool was closed for the whole week, and we would've liked to use it occasionally. Other than that, we really enjoyed ourselves! The beach view was the best!

Perfect little getaway

This property is on the perfect location. The balcony and ocean views were the highlights. We were there 4 days and never got in the car. Highly recommend!!! We'll be back.

1st time in SPI

We have visited other beaches along the gulf and this one did not disappoint. The condo was perfect for us and had everything we needed. Bob was great to work with, we would definitely come back! The view from the balcony was amazing and we liked the convenience and security of the parking garage.

Perfect Getaway!

This was perfect for a getaway with beach access and sunrise and moonrise ocean views! Room was clean and close to everything on the island. Owner was very responsive and also gave good recommendations for restaurants etc. We would stay there again! Don't miss out on this gem of SPI!

Mike and I had a wonderful time at our "home" at South Padre Island. The home was comfortable, clean and cozy. The view fantastic of sunrises and people watching and changing Gulf of Mexico. The deck is very spacious and a relaxing place to sit and listen to Gulf sounds. Our host was very informative and does a great job describing the place and everything associated with our stay. Definitely recommend and will come back again.

Check in was a breeze, we had complete instructions before we got there along with suggestions for restaurants. The place was clean with easy access and furnished perfectly. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed sitting in the balcony watching and listening to the ocean.

We loved this condo! Location and property were great. Everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely go back. Perfect for 1-2 people, but we were plenty comfortable with our kids on the pullout sofa.

Best view ever

The perfect spot to enjoy the beach. Just step outside the building and you are on the beach. Sit on the spacious balcony, hear the waves, marvel at the sunrise. We had everything we needed in the condo and it was comfortable, home away from home. Restaurants and shopping nearby. A return visit would be a treat!

South Padre Condo

The location of this condo is amazing, right on the gulf coast. The condo was cozy and clean. The living room furniture is old and could be updated. My only complaint is the elevators were not working so we had to go up and down 7 flights of stairs which was not good on my husband's knee.

Condo and Owner were GREAT - Building not so much

Everything about the condo itself and the owner were great. The reason I gave it a 3 star is because of the building the condo is in. Parking is horrible, the elevators are outside and take around 10 minutes to get to you (which is awful in 100 degree weather), and there are no restrooms at the pool. The condo itself is beautiful even if it has older furnishings and being right on the beach is really great.

Cheap and old

The location is great, but the inside of the condo can use a lot of help. The bed is old and creaky, the bedclothes are cheap, old, and frayed, the pillows are thin and hard as cardboard, the couch in the living room has seen better days. The only redeeming quality is the balcony, which overlooks the water. The communication with the owner has been kind of difficult, he comes off as condescending and bothered by even the simplest questions, that require one or two word answers. The overall impression is that everything in the condo is cheap and old and could use an investment to refresh it.

Ocean front beauty!

My wife and I spent 5 days here for our 33rd anniversary and loved the place and it’s location! The condo was clean and surprisingly bigger than expected-with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. We spent most of our time switching between hanging on the balcony and sitting on the beach-which was just what we wanted. The beach & water was clean too. The only criticism would be that our first night at the Inverness 704 included a big bunch of partiers directly above us (804) yelling & screaming and blasting their music-making it sound like the music was actually on our balcony-we eventually had to go inside 😑. But, after going inside-it was still pretty loud…AND went on until 2:00am! During our stay, one elevator was not working at all and the other was also down for a period of time-so that was not good for a 7th floor unit! Overall, we loved it and Bob thought of everything in the place and gave great restaurant suggestions too! It would be a 5/5 if not for the first night and elevator issue (still a 4.7/5). Good price, great condo!!!

The balcony was our favorite spot in the condo as it overlooked the beautiful S Padre Island beach. It was private & the loungers were much appreciated. Nice kitchen with refrigerator to keep our beverages cold, ice packs frozen & leftovers along fruit & other goodies cold. We liked using glass glasses & wine glasses to drink from. The beach view was amazing & I made sure to wake up to view the sunrise each morning. Enjoyed having a sofa to sit on along with bedroom & bathroom that were exactly as pictured. We were able to park underground & use carts to transport our luggage ect to & from the condo. There was also a faucet outside of the condo to rinse off our feet & flip flops. Check in & check out was a breeze. Mr. Bob responded to all questions we had along with providing details in checking out & recommendations of places to eat. We ordered food each day from nearby restaurants that we could walk to. I miss the condo & beach & hope to return soon.

I discovered South Padre in 1992 and have been returning ever since. I have been to most of the beach resorts on the east coast, Florida and a few on the west coast. There is no place among them to match South Padre!

Why they chose this property

I love an early morning walk on the beach, lunch on the balcony overlooking the gulf and an evening drink while watching the sun set at a bay side restaurant. Is there a better way to relax?

What makes this property unique

The private balconies at Inverness are 9' x 24', the largest of any similar beach front building on the island!
