Large, simple apartment house "Residence A", 5 storeys, built in 1970. In the district of Wiesti 550 m from the centre of Zermatt, in a quiet, sunny position, 20 m from the stream. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Motor access to the house. Supermarket 400 m, restaurant 300 m, bakery 550 m, 15 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Wiestibrücke" 190 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 550 m. Mountain railway 500 m, ski rental 500 m, ski bus stop 190 m, ski school 800 m, children's ski school. Please note: the keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt. Additional accommodations can be booked.
1-room apartment 25 m2 on 4th floor, south facing position. Partly renovated in 2021, simple and cosy furnishings: living/sleeping room with 1 sofabed (140 cm, length 200 cm), dining table and TV. Exit to the balcony. Kitchen (3 hot plates, oven, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine, raclette grill, fondue Set (chinoise)). Bath/WC. Balcony, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Beautiful view of the Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Had an okay stay here, I'll start off with the good, which is that the view is stunning. I loved sitting on the balcony in the evening as the sun went down on the matterhorn. It's big enough for several people. And the chairs were comfy, though the lounge chairs are getting a bit ratty. Price was also very reasonable. This was actually the cheapest place we stayed during our trip, which is shocking considering how expensive Zermatt can be. Especially given how much space the room offered, the value here is superb.It's not without its cons though, the bed was just a sofa-bed and wasn't the comfiest. The space is also just generally a bit dated. The pictures are VERY spruced up. The bathroom especially is a bit weird and feels old. The location is also on the far end of town. This didn't bother me and isn't as out of the way as some other places, but keep in mind there's a bit of a walk every time you're going to the grocery store, market, etc. Check in was also a bit strange having to go to the office first, then the apartment. In any case, place was spacious, view was stunning, and value was excellent considering Zermatt, it just didn't feel particularly "nice".

Studio très bien placé : 5mn à pied de la gare et du centre ville Très pcalme. Studio bien équipé : bouilloire, cafetière, grille pain. Il manque un micro onde. Balcon agréable avec belle vue dégagée sur le Cervin.

Mycket bra läge, 150 meter till gratisbuss som gick till station eller glaciärområdets liftar, nära till mataffär. Bra balkong med utsikt mot Matterhorn. Enkelt och funktionellt boende till rimligt pris.

Unterkunft, Lage und Buchungsablauf sehr gut

Insgesamt alles sehr gut. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt benötigt wird, die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war unkompliziert und angenehm, vom großzügigen Balkon aus hat man einen sehr schönen Blick aufs Matterhorn, die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist relativ in der Nähe. Insgesamt also wirklich zu empfehlen; für den nächsten Zermatt-Aufenthalt würde ich die Unterkunft wieder in Betracht ziehen.

Die Lage ist super, die Einrichtung ist total alt und in schlechten Zustand. Es müffelt im ganzen Zimmer und alles ist am Ende des Lebenszyklus. Sauber kann es gar nicht sein, aber es war relativ günstig.

Appartement avec un bon potentiel mais mal exploité

Appartement calme et bien placé. Près du départ de Sunnega. Malheureusement celui-ci mériterait un grand nettoyage (vaisselle sale, armoires sales, canapé dégoutant (on n'a vraiment pas envie de s'y asseoir). De plus il faudrait vider les armoires de toutes ces choses inutiles et y installer un micro-onde plutôt que 4 cafetières italiennes (entre autre) ! Il faudrait aussi revoir tout l'aménagement du mobilier pour exploiter au mieux ce qui pourrait être un bijou mais qui n'est qu'un alignement d'armoires et d'étagères posés rapidement et sans réflexion, par exemple les lampes intégrées des lits ne peuvent même pas être branchées !

Fijn verblijf in Residence A

Het appartement is zeer goed bereikbaar; geen trappen om in het gebouw te komen, in het gebouw een lift. Prachtig uitzicht vanuit de kamer op het dorp en de Matterhorn. Eettafel voor het raam is heel prettig. Breed balkon. Inrichting wat gedateerd met electrische kookplaten, maar alles funktioneert.
