This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

We had a great time celebrating 40 plus years of friendship during our stay in Charleston. The house was very comfortable and was in a good location close enough to king street. A Coffee/bagel place was great, right around the corner. The couch was very comfortable, the bathrooms well stocked, overall we were very happy at this house!

We were very happy with our stay at this property. The location was 1 block away from my daughter so we were able to have quality time to visit. Downtown was a beautiful walk and we found great coffee and lunch spots nearby.

Wonderful Stay at Downtown Charmer

I visited the Downtown Charmer for 3 nights with a few friends. Our stay was seamless from an easy early check in, parking, location, and cleanliness. As we left we discussed if we ever came back to Charleston we would want to stay at this same spot again!

Lovely Place!

The house was close to King Street, and getting to locations via walking/Ubers was easy! The streets of were a little confusing, which made the parking harder to access, but overall would stay at this place again :)

Very convenient for walking to the shops and fabulous restaurants

We went on a "moms" trip and it was so nice to be able to walk everywhere. Very clean place, we felt safe and would book again. Only downside is the neighbors kicked it up a notch after the bars closed. Take a noise maker or ear plugs. Otherwise awesome

Good location and very clean!

There were 3 three couples that stayed and it was really nice for each of us to have a dedicated bathrooms and a table that we could all eat at. The smaller bedroom with the ensuite is tight. We did not realize that there was a small closet behind the mirror until the end of our stay. It is not obvious there is a closet. The parking 4 blocks away is a bit annoying but not terrible. We could find street parking on the same block for loading and unloading.

Birthday Weekend

Myself, my husband, and 2 other couples stayed at this wonderful property! There were 3 bedrooms (2 king, 1 queen) and 3 bathrooms (2 en suite, 1 in hallway). The bathrooms were a little tight in terms of space, but worked for what we needed. We were within walking distance to King St. (just a few blocks) and ridesharing was very reasonably priced for those places a little farther away. Communication with the manager was easy, and we received relatively quick responses. I would definitely stay at this property or another one by this property management group. Overall this was a great property, location, experience, and fun weekend!

Great condo (with one exception)

Everything was great except the wi-fi. The property description described "high speed wifi", but it was quite slow (evidenced by the blurry tv screen) and did not reach the bedrooms.

Super close to King Street and some amazing restaurants all within walking distance. The house was nice and clean. The AC doesn’t appear to be able to keep up and you can’t lower it below 70 degrees, there are fans in the rooms but we found it to be hot for sleeping. The properly manager was very responsive and offered to bring more fans, but we just dealt with it.

We really enjoyed this stay! There were three women celebrating birthdays so having the three bedrooms and three bathrooms was perfect! We were able to walk every where. King St was a short walk and once there we had plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. Definitely recommend this home. It was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect.
