New for 2023, this home has been transformed into "Azaleas" - a Boho Chic retreat with a private front porch overlooking historic Spring Street. The location is unbeatable, just two blocks to King Street and surrounded by Charleston's best fine dining.

** Please note the home is divided into 3 completely separate Suites A / B / C each with a private entrance and dedicated outdoor space **

Guest Access:
The entrance to the house is on Spring St. Suite A is on the ground level. Access is provided with a unique key code.

The Neighborhood:
This home is in the most vibrant and walkable area in Charleston. It is 2 blocks from King Street, where the city's most famous restaurants are just a step away. Nightlife begins literally around the corner. Convenient to all tourist attractions. The home is in an extremely safe area.

Getting Around:
Easily walk to the restaurants, nightlife, and shopping of King St and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Uber or Lyft around town or to the airport.

DASH is a free shuttle service that allows riders to explore the peninsula. Two of the routes have stops just around the corner. Visit the DASH website for a route map and more information.

Other Things to Note:
Parking for 1 vehicle is provided in our private onsite parking lot - oversized vehicles will not fit in our parking space.

Outstanding home in Charleston near King Street
We had a girls trip to Charleston for 5 old friends. I was in charge of planning and selected this home because of its proximity to King Street ( couple blocks). Communication was excellent with Tom and Hannah prior to booking as well as before arrival and after arrival. They checked with us multiple times as to if we had questions or needed anything We arrived slightly earlier than check-in time and the unit was ready so we were able to enter early. The unit was decorated very stylishly and elegantly. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Beds were very comfortable and we all slept great. Furnishings were lovely. We had no issues while we were here. We loved every minute of our stay here. Future improvements that we suggest are a Keurig, and clocks in the bedrooms and living room. We also suggest it would be nice to recycle but perhaps recycling is not picked up in Charleston. We also recommend instructions on using the tv. We appreciated the many channels and apps available such as Netflix. But we had a little bit of difficulty operating the tv in living room not knowing this particular system. We recommend staying here and we would stay here again. This is definitely a premium unit and has been decorated and furnished first class and cleaned thoroughly. We appreciated all the attention to detail.

The location of this rental was awesome, a close walk to Upper King Street, which had all of the coolest shops and restaurants! The rental was very clean and updated, and had ADORABLE decor. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful
The unit was so cute on the outside and clean and beautiful on the inside. It was within walking distance of several very good restaurants and coffee shops. The bedrooms and living area were good sized and bright and airy. The laundry room was an added plus. The kitchen had everything we needed for fixing all three meals. We would definitely stay again. The hosts were very responsive as well.

Charleston homey getaway
This property was a wonderful little gem in a neighborhood close to the College of Charleston. It was full of life and little neighborhood coffee shops and vintage stores, and close to the major shopping area of King Street. We had a lovely stay in Charleston and the convenient parking made it easy to grab the car and go to anywhere. But it was easy walking to many places or catching the shuttle bus nearby. The place has everything you need, and was a joy to come home to each day. All 3 rooms had a king bed and a perfect bathroom. The entire place was beautifully decorated and had interesting touches in every room - even a record player and some LPs/vinyls that we played one night, and a porch to relax in the morning with your coffee. Tom and Hannah were very responsive to all my questions before and during our stay. They gave great tips and were kind and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home. We had an amazing time in Charleston and we would love to stay at Tom and Hannah's place again!

Everything was just as gorgeous as the pictures! The rooms are spacious, the beds are super comfortable, and everything was incredibly clean. The owners have thought of and provided everything you could need. Our favorite part was sitting on the porch at night! The area is safe, quiet, and close to everything. We recently stayed in Azelea's A for one night versus staying in a hotel as we traveled with our family of 4. Our twin boys are 16 and loved their own king bedroom. The house was clean, super cute and had a great front porch. Tom and Hannah response time was amazing. Loved the record player with the classic vinyl's. I would stay here again and again. Walked to Holey City Bagels once block away for breakfast. Great location with so many cute local restaurants and King Street.

Amazing experience!
Most comfortable beds & pillows we have ever had when renting a vacation house! There is everything you need & more for your meal times! It is a great place to walk to small stores, restaurants & bars. However, it is too far to walk to attractions unless you are fit & just enjoy walking. We had to drive most places only because we couldn’t walk long in the heat. There is a cute little bistro literally across the street & a convenience store on the corner (very reasonably priced). The Hosts reached out everyday to see how our stay was & offered assistance for anything we needed (very impressive & shows they truly care). The house has convenient parking & we felt very safe the entire week! Lots of people walk all thru the day & night so you’ll never walk alone anywhere! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This is by far the best vacation property I have ever stayed in. It was as clean and well furnished as you could ask for. Tom and Hannah were extremely helpful and well organized. I would recommend it to anyone and if we are ever in Charleston again I would definitely stay here.

The house was very clean. Essentials were provided that was needed. The mattress in the Master was a little unconformable, it felt like it had a hard board down the middle of the bed. Overall everything was wonderful.

Very nice property!
My wife, adult daughter and I stayed at this house for 5 nights. We had the entire first floor with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. All were in immaculate condition. It has a pleasant living area and kitchen combination. Parking in this area is hard to come by, so the designated parking place behind the house is treasure. The location is very good ….. just a couple blocks off King Street. A DASH (free shuttle service) stop is located close to the intersection of Spring Street and King Street. Thomas and Hannah, the hosts, were available and helpful. I highly recommend this property. Mike

Upon walking into the suite, we knew it was going to be a great stay. The suite smelled clean and there were even nice touches such as the towels having fancy folds and a brand new sponge was still wrapped in the sink. The kitchen is perfect since we had 3 people and there were 3 seats at the bar. If we had more they would need to eat at the couch. The 3 bedrooms each were well decorated and were of good size. They all have their own bathroom along with shower (master) or shower/tub (other 2 bedrooms). The main living area was perfect and there was even a gaming system hooked up to the TV to play some classic arcade or game consoles. From here it takes 5 minutes to get to King Street. Halls is a 13 minute walk. Every day we received a text from Tom and Hannah asking if we needed anything. I did text once and promptly got a response. I really felt like we had an operator in a hotel and we were covered if we needed anything. The only issue we had was that there was a family of 6 above us and they woke up early. When they did, we heard their footsteps. The property actually left sound machines in each room which was a nice touch. Overall the place was great for us! Thanks for a great stay!

My family enjoyed staying in this beautiful, spacious home! The location is within walking distance of King Street and near so many local restaurants. My family enjoyed having a bathroom in every room. This is a great house for a family looking for room to spread out. We really enjoyed our stay!

Azaleas is great with a few things you should know
Azaleas is a beautiful property in a great location. The property is spacious, perfect for our multigenerational family trip because everyone got their own room and bathroom. It’s very well decorated and clean. (I do suggest checking the dishes before you use them because many of ours were dirty and greasy.) The beds were extremely comfortable too. And Tom and Hanna were so helpful and responsive. Two things to be aware of though: 1 - it’s a first floor unit and you can hear EVERYTHING the people upstairs say and do. If it’s a rowdy group upstairs that would definitely be a problem 2 - the parking lot is a little tight, but it’s so nice to have the parking! We had an expedition and it was fine, especially with backing into the space, but a car any bigger than that wouldn’t work. Overall we had a great trip in large part due to this wonderful property!

Southern Charm in the historic district!
The property is beautifully appointed and well stocked with convenience items that make your stay more enjoyable. It’s located just a couple of blocks off historic King Street with many shops close by to include your morning coffee, bagels and boutiques! There are spacious closets in each room which is great for a girl’s trip! We would definitely be guests here again in the future.
