Our stay was awesome! Our hosts were extremely attentive and shared tons of great recommendations for things to do in the area. The house was perfect; cozy and stylish. Our girls LOVED all the kids toys in the basement and didn’t want to leave. We’d love to come back!
Very cute and welcoming property. Lots of space and just the right amount of everything we needed for a few nights stay. Seasonal decor made us feel right at home.

Glad you had a good visit to Tamworth and appreciated our fall decor! It was the earliest we’ve ever put it up! LOL
Hoping you’ll return visit sometime.
Fully equippede kitchen, cozy and inviting spaces and bedrooms - a lot of options for sleeping larger groups, very nice owners / property managers, the whole process was easy from beginning to end! Thank you for a great weekend in Tamworth, NH
the kitchen was well laid out and well stocked. For 4 adults, there was more than enough room, even if someone needed a few moments of quiet time. Communication from and with the host was excellent.
This home was beautiful and fully stocked! It was in a great location and the owners were very kind and responsive. Can’t wait to go back!

Thank you for those kind words. My husband enjoyed meeting your family as you were departing.
Glad you could enjoy a few of our PYO blueberries!
Come on back again some time.
We had a lovely stay in Tamworth before and during a visit with family who live locally. The farmers market was close by and well worth a stop. We dined at Jake’s seafood, and enjoyed the fire pit. There was a place to gather and to disperse for quiet moments. Very enjoyable

Thank you for those kind words. Our cleaning staff works very hard to keep our property clean for guests. I’ll pass along your compliment.
We’d love to have you return sometime.
We had a great stay… The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the grill and fire pit were clean and ready to use, everything we needed for trips to the lakes was there. It was nice to be able to walk to pick up a cup of coffee and baked goods in Tamworth. And, the hosts were responsive and provided lots of good suggestions for making our time in NH fun.

So glad that your family could enjoy time at the lake and surrounding area. Tamworth is a little hidden gem in the White Mountains with so many things to do.
Our cleaning staff works hard. I’ll pass along your compliments.
Come back again!
Thank you, Ryan! Glad that you and your wife could attend her high school reunion and stay at our home. We'd love to have you again whenever you come back to visit the area.
1st time I've used VRBO. The property was even better than pictured! Everything you could think of was available. The owners are well-organized and provided very thought-through instructions: You just had to 'think' you needed something and it was available. The hosts have gone above and beyond with making sure you have everything you need. Very responsive to questions and made sure everything you needed was there. GREAT property, truly enjoyed the area and even met the neighbors (VERY nice).
We appreciated the cleanliness of the house, nice furniture and it was decorated for the season. Plenty of sleeping spaces. The rooms were comfortable and well decorated. The house itself was wheelchair accessible, except that the bathroom really was not. If you have no mobility, then you will not be able to use the bathroom properly. White Lake Pizza was absolutely fabulous!
We were happy that your family got to experience at least a little snow on your trip up north!
Currently, we already have snow on the ground.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
It was an absolute beautiful place for our gang of 6 adults and 2 kids to stay . The surrounding neighborhood was calm and this place is a really nearer place to White mountains.

Doris, we were glad that everything worked out for your extended family group.
Come again, sometime!
This house is a great place to stay. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We went to visit with family in the area everyday so we didn't get to take advantage of the wonderful firepit or cook in the well equipped kitchen. I loved that the instructions were well documented and that the hosts responded readily to the few questions we had. Definitely will return :)

It was nice to hear that our home worked out for visiting family in the area.
Glad to see you will return again.
This is the most accessible friendly house we have stayed in. Owners thought of everything - from charging cords to extra blankets - all in a beautifully decorated house. We started the day with a walk to the local bakery and, at the end of the day, enjoyed happy hour in the fire pit area , surrounded by a lovely garden.

Why they chose this property
This property, with an old Victorian era farmhouse on it, was purchased in 1952 by my grandparents. My brothers, cousins and I all have fond memories of visiting Grandma and Grandpa here on holidays and summer trips. In 1975, there was a fire and most of the house was lost. My uncle, a contractor by trade, built the current house in the footprint of the original. The silver lining was they were able to design the new house to be handicap accessible for my grandfather who was in a wheelchair by this time. In the early1990's it changed hands to my parents who spent over two decades of their retirement years enjoying the country lifestyle and all that Tamworth has to offer. My own sons, nieces and nephews also made many memories visiting their grandparents and celebrating countless family events here (and we still do)! In 2018, my wife and I purchased the house from my now elderly father, as it was becoming too much for him to maintain. We have spent the last few years renovating it and are now happy to offer this fully updated home on VRBO. As you look around the home, you will notice some of the old doors and stained-glass windows that were salvaged from the original farmhouse. I have thoroughly enjoyed renovating this property inside and out after spending 40+ years in an IT desk job. My wife is concerned that I may now become bored....hmm...wonder what my next project should be?
What makes this property unique
Downtown Tamworth NH looks like something from the old TV show, Mayberry RFD. It is very quaint with gorgeous restored historic buildings, shops, beautiful panoramic views, farms, rushing rivers, lakes and friendly people. This house is within a 5-minute walk of the "downtown" area of Tamworth where you will find a bakery/lunch shop, the Distillery, Lyceum, 2 churches, the Barnstormer's Theater, the Swift River, Remick Farm Museum, the library, and more. If you love the outdoors, there are so many things to do in the Tamworth area with hiking, skiing, kayaking, swimming, golfing etc. If you prefer indoor activities there are lots of restaurants nearby, tax free outlet shopping, theater performances and concerts. There really is something for everyone.
