This property is situated in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to downtown Oak Bluffs. This location is perfect. All the amenities of Oak Bluffs are just a stroll away including beaches, restaurants, parks, ferry, library, and more, but it is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Oak Bluffs that you can enjoy plenty of peace and quiet.

*** New outdoor shower in 2024 *** Newly installed, large outdoor shower with changing area.

Additional property amenities include mini-split a/c, spacious living room with plenty of seating, full size dining table, large deck with gas-fueled fire pit, flat grassy yard, large shed for bike storage, and off street parking for up to 4 vehicles.

Sunday to Sunday in July and August (minimum 7 nights). 3 night minimum on select holiday weekends. 2 night minimum on all other dates. Discounts available for longer stays.

The Perfect Stay!

The house felt like a home away from home. The house was clean, comfortable and close to our scheduled events. The proximity was close to the bus route. Our neighbors were friendly.

Wonderful visit!

We had a great stay in Oak Bluffs. The house is clean and had everything we needed. Communication with Dave, the host, was seamless and he went above and beyond to help us. The house is located close to town, a little bit of a walk. Highly recommend this spot!

Beautiful Home in Oak Bluffs

We rented this home and it had no reviews as we were 2nd renters. It was just as advertised. Perfect in every way. We woujd definitely choose this home again if we ever went back.

What a great week at a truly wonderful place. Clean, comfortable and well-located. Comfy beds, updated bathrooms and excellent AC. Dave was so helpful and communicative. Very responsive. Excellent house instructions book with detailed info on beaches, house quirks, TV etc. Will definitely go back.

The Vineyard 70th Birthday Celebration

On The Vineyard for a 70th birthday celebration, this property was absolutely perfect. Very comfortable. Very convenient to everywhere we had to be or want to go. David is an excellent host - very responsive and very kind. We didn’t get to enjoy all of the amenities of the house on our brief trip, but it was nice to know they were there, especially the outdoor fire pit. I’d definitely cook again for a small group of friends.

As advertised!

We had a great stay in Oak Bluffs. The house is laid out as advertised. It was very spacious for our group of four. The location is perfect- off the beaten path but close enough to walk to downtown Oak Bluffs. We had one rainy day and having all of the games at our disposal was great! There are a few quirks to the house - some are listed in the visitor's manual (grill) but others are not (hallway shower). I've never had to provide my own linens for other rentals in MV so that's something to note that will either add another suitcase or additional expense. Overall, the stay was great and the communication was EXCELLENT! We would stay again.

Unfortunately, due to staffing shortages my cleaning company stopped laundry services. I will be looking to rectify that for next season. I’ll also add instructions on how to use the shower. Great home every you need, close to town.

Before arrival, I expected a great trip, solely based on the communication with the owner before our visit. I am glad I was correct, and the home's cleanliness spoke volumes upon arrival. As with most rentals, there were some minor (one major) issues, but neither didn't take away from our overall excellent experience. As expected, the owner and caretaker remedied all in short owner. Having visited the island yearly since 2015, this home was upgraded beyond most properties in this price range. As a family, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The only downside to us was being two couples with three kids. One couple had to share a bathroom with their two kids. If there were two on-suites or a third full bath, this property would be a forever vacation destination for our seven people, a two-family group. When it's just my family, this property would be a no-brainer. If that's not a concern for you, this property is fantastic; the space, the yard, the deck, the only thing that could be added would be some bicycles and a bit more lighting on the deckside. Thank you for a great rental experience.

We are a family of four from Littleton, Massachusetts. We aspired to own a home on Martha's Vineyard ever since we started vacationing here in 2013. After many years of planning, saving, and researching we were able to purchase this property in Oak Bluffs in November 2021.
Unlike the corporate rental properties, this is not a business venture for us. We are thrilled to be able to share our home away from home with you and can promise you'll be treated like friends & family before, during, and after your stay.

Why they chose this property

We have been vacationing on Martha's Vineyard for over 10 years. Staying in Vineyard Haven, Edgartown, and Oak Bluffs. We purchased this property because of the location! It is a quite neighborhood tucked in behind Sunset Park. It's close enough to town such that all the amenities of Oak Bluffs are a short walk away, but far enough that the noise and traffic are imperceptible.

What makes this property unique

Aside from the great location, we think you'll find our property has everything you need. There's a large deck for outdoor dining and entertaining including a full size gas grill, fire pit and ample seating. There's a flat grassy yard for little ones to run around and play. A spacious outdoor shower is located just off the deck. Each bedroom has its own climate controls so everyone in your group can choose their optimal sleeping temperature. The street is very quiet and set back away from the main thoroughfare. Sunset part and the Oak Bluffs Town Library are just down the road.
