Everything was beautiful and perfect! We loved our stay and we loved relaxing in the hot tub on the bank of the peaceful Chestatee river every evening after a long day out. The sun rm/living area sits so close to the river it is as if you are on the river bank if you are inside or outside. Highly recommend! The owners are very responsive and willing to help.

This was a great place for our family. The hosts were very helpful with any problem. Stunning views and lots to do close by. We did not catch any fish, and it wasn't for not trying! But that's ok. I would just not recommend if that's super important to you! Would visit again for sure.

We’re an adventurous family of five who love hiking, kayaking, and exploring the outdoors. As a local real estate agent, I know the area well and am always happy to share recommendations. We live nearby if you need anything during your stay and look forward to hosting you!

Why they chose this property

We love this neighborhood for its peaceful setting and exclusive access to a private waterfall, available only to residents and guests. It’s the best of both worlds, tucked away in nature, yet just minutes from Dahlonega’s award-winning wineries. Cavender Creek is only 2 miles away, and Kaya, Three Sisters, Frogtown, and Doghobble are all within an easy 10-minute drive.

What makes this property unique

What makes our cabin unique is the sense of peace and privacy you’ll find here. Nestled right on the river, you’ll have exclusive access to kayaks, a paddleboard, and a riverside fire pit, plus a 6-person hot tub with a view. The big screened porch and deck are perfect for sipping coffee or enjoying a meal while listening to the river. Walk to a stunning waterfall, relax with fresh local coffee, or gather with family and friends in the spacious yard with plenty of outdoor dining space. Pet-friendly and adventure-ready, it’s the perfect mix of nature and comfort.
