Renovated 1898 Neo-Classical Victorian 800 sq ft. view LOFT studio apartment. Restaurant row featuring awarded LePigeon is five minute walk away. Near Convention Center, Lloyd Center shopping mall, movie theater. Streetcar 3 blocks away, Max Train 10 minute walk, buses 2 blocks, or walk across Burnside Bridge to downtown area, car rental 3 blocks. Easy access to I-84, route to airport. Located in urban Central Industrial area, neighbors are businesses in smaller buildings. Urban noises. City and tree views.
The space
Built in 1898, this house was a Sears and Roebuck catalog house that came by train in a "kit", and then by horse drawn wagon to the building site. It has been renovated by owners and has had recent updating.
Guest access
Guests have the top floor exclusively to themselves with a separate front door entrance. The apartment has a coffee maker, gas range, microwave, refrigerator in kitchen and is equipped for cooking.
Bedroom area has queen sized bed and amoire for clothing storage,
Bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower is exclusive for LOFT guests. WIFI provided.
Other things to note
No smoking anywhere on the premises. Our house is an all wooden structure that is 119 years old. Please bring slippers/socks and remove your shoes and store at entry way bench. The house is NOT childproofed.
