OUTSIDE AREAS:
"Many locations on Lake Norman are to be avoided because of the crowds of boats on the water right behind the house. This is a quiet cove that affords peaceful swimming off of the dock and gentle waters for kayaks and SUPs." Donna

Our large and private cove has very little boat traffic and is perfect for swimming and fishing yet access to big water and the main lake is only minutes away. Access to the water is by dock stairs. Four kayaks, two paddle boards, and life vests are provided, or rent a boat and have it delivered to our deep-water dock. Bring your own boat and launch it from the nearby public boat launch. A local marina plus multiple dock and dine restaurants are around the corner (yet out of sight).

Your group can sit around the smokeless firepit or relax the day away in the 6-person hot tub with multiple jet settings and LED mood lights. Our covered deck and patio areas provide multiple areas to enjoy the outside regardless of the weather. Outdoor Bluetooth speakers are available to cast your favorite music.

COMMON HOUSE AREAS:

The large ground-floor family room was designed to entertain everyone in your group. Spend your evenings playing air hockey, or foosball, or travel back to the 1980s with our vintage arcade featuring 32 of the most popular games of that era. The 75” TV is perfect for big games or family movies and in-ceiling Bluetooth speakers are available.

Upstairs, almost every room has incredible views of the lake. Your group will be comfortable in the open-concept living room that connects to the kitchen and the covered deck spaces. There is a second 75” TV for your viewing pleasure.

TELEVISIONS:
All seven TVs are Roku Smart TVs set up in guest mode. You can log into your own accounts and enjoy your favorite shows while ensuring that your accounts are automatically erased upon checkout. All Roku TVs support Apple AirPlay and the two 75" TVs (Living Room and Basement) also support Chromecast.

KITCHEN/HOUSE BASICS PROVIDED:

Preparing meals will be simple in our fully stocked kitchen and gas grill. Household basics such as spices, olive oil, salt/pepper, paper towels, napkins, coffee, filters, K-cups, tea, sugar, creamer, baggies, saran wrap, aluminum foil, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, hand soap, grill propane, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and garbage bags are provided.

Small appliances include a Keurig (with iced and hot coffee options), a 12 cup coffee maker, slow cooker, Instapot, rice maker, waffle iron, hand mixer, toaster, blender, ice cream maker and mini food processor. A selection of cookware, bakeware, kitchen utensils, Tupperware, and serving dishes are provided.

The Master bedroom features a king-sized bed, an ensuite with a walk-in shower, and a free-standing soaking tub. The other two first-floor queen bedrooms share a common bathroom. The ground-level king-size bedroom has a bathroom immediately outside the door.

INFANT/TODDLERS:
We have a highchair and a pac and play with sheets available for your use. The kitchen also has plastic cups, plates, bowls and utensils for toddlers to use.

SHOWERS:
All showers have spa-like dual shower heads with rainfall and massage settings. Luxury shampoo, conditioner, and body wash with a fresh air scent are provided. They are made with premium ingredients and purified water (no parabens, banned phthalates, petroleum, paraffin, diethanolamine, and mineral oil). Plush towels, hairdryers, and kid-friendly step stools are also provided.

KID SUITE:
"And the kids, well you will never see them because they will be downstairs in their own gaming space or out on the water in the safety of a cove." Susan

Both kids and adults will appreciate the separate kid suite with 4 bunks and a separate TV room designed for video gaming. You bring your favorite gaming console, and we’ll provide the 55” TV and a cool atmosphere with adjustable LED lighting! A special beanbag chair converts to a full-size mattress in case your group has more than 4 kids that want to sleep together. You may never see the kids on your vacation!

OFFICE:
Need to work? Then use the comfortable office complete with monitor, mouse, and laptop stand and close the French doors for privacy.

RULES:
No smoking/vaping, no parties and no pets are allowed. Only registered guests are allowed to be on the property. Please note that this is a residential neighborhood where courtesy and respect for neighbors are expected. Disturbances will not be tolerated. Quiet hours of 10 pm to 8 am are strictly enforced.

CAMERAS:
Three cameras are located (front door, far side yard away from guest area and driveway) are installed for security purposes only. No cameras are inside the home.

WILDLIFE:
Our house is on the lake which is also home to many different species of animals such as fish, deer, geese, birds, groundhogs, snakes, foxes, bugs, squirrels, lizards, etc. We do regular pest and bug control treatments for the house but can not control Mother Nature.
