History and architecture
Our great-grandmother built Villa Roquerousse in 1904. It is one of the oldest mansions in Saint-Raphaël, remarkable for its richly decorated "Belle Epoque" style façade and entrance door. The villa was completely renovated in 2025 to offer more comfort while preserving its atypical features, such as the frescoed ceilings.
Location and view
The apartment occupies the entire ground floor of the villa and faces the sea: you just have to cross the street to access the beach of Veillat. From the villa you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea, especially from the kitchen, the dining/living room and one of the bedrooms, each of these last 2 rooms having a small balcony.
Interior spaces
An appreciable feature for a holiday apartment: the 110 m² interior space, which will satisfy holidaymakers looking for both outdoor and indoor space.
The apartment benefits from air conditioning and central heating.
The dining/living room offers a large living space, comfortable for up to eight people. The kitchen is fully equipped. On the north side, a large terrace of about 12 m² is accessible to enjoy a little coolness in summer. You will also find a small room dedicated to the washing machine and a drying area (for your beach towels, for example).
The apartment has three bedrooms: one has its own private bathroom with Italian shower (South side with small balcony - double bed), the second (double bed) has direct access to the terrace (also accessible from the corridor), and the third, spacious, has two single beds and two fold-out trundle beds, all at the same height once installed. The second bathroom is large, equipped with an Italian shower and the second toilet of the apartment.
Prime location
The villa provides quick access to the sea, as well as to the town centre and all its amenities (shops, restaurants, local markets) in five to fifteen minutes on foot. You can also enjoy walks on the old port, along the jetty, on the Diana spike (completely redeveloped on the sea), in the Bonaparte garden... Twenty to thirty minutes away on foot, the second port of Saint-Raphaël and its restaurants are accessible. Continuing the walk, you will reach the beginning of the Esterel massif and the beginning of the customs path, for a memorable walk along the sea to discover many small coves with red rocks.
Services and reception
In the apartment, we provide guides for walks and hikes to explore the Esterel, the Massif des Maures, as well as the surrounding towns and villages. We still live in part of the villa (second floor), thus guaranteeing a personalised welcome and service.
