That's fantastic! We've been hearing about frequent sightings in the area lately. They are fun to see but they can be mischievous also. Always lock your car doors and keep an air horn close by. We keep a couple in the cabin in case they get too friendly. Certainly hope you will come again soon.
We loved the cabin on the mountain side!!! We have 3 boys, 18, 10 and 3 and we all enjoyed the cabin. There was plenty of space for all of us. We definitely would recommend this cabin to anyone and hope to stay again!
Check in was easy. Pictures and description were very accurate to prepare for stay. Property was nice and drive up was beautiful. Close lots of good shopping, attractions and great food! Good size for a couple with kids or a small group of friends to enjoy the area. Would stay here again if planning another trip.

Thank you so very much Mason. It was a pleasure having you and your family. Please do come back soon
The cabin was great! We lived in the hot tub all weekend. Everything worked and was in good condition. Pictures and description is exact representation of the cabin.
The cabin was as described in the listing. We enjoyed our stay here and will hopefully be back soon. The rental process was easy and all the necessary things for check-in was provided in a very timely manner. We will rent this property again for sure.
Our stay in this cabin was great it is pretty close to town but not too close. The cabin was very clean. Hot tub was great at the end of the day from all the walking we did. I would definitely stay here again. Also I read other reviews 1 being about the driveway it has been changed and now has 2 driveways. We had a great stay overall.
Great cabin to stay and the host kept in contact very well!! The only thing I could say is the location of the driveway is horrible.

Thank you Tiffani. I appreciate your input. It is a sharp right if your coming from the east. However, for a much easier approach, it is best to drive clockwise around the neighborhood. This is actually a common issue with these more secluded properties in the mountains as the land is rarely level unless your in a neighborhood.
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin! We had plenty of paper products, there were three of us and we were there 4 days so I did one load of wash clothes and towels to tide us over. There were laundry pods supplied for three loads of laundry if needed. Plenty of coffee to enjoy on the awesome deck. We didn’t take advantage of the hot tub but it was there if we wanted. Would stay there again!

Overall we really enjoyed the property. The accommodations we good. I was thankful we were in my SUV and not my sports car. I am not sure the sports car would make it up the stepper part of the driveway.
The owner did go above and beyond to help me out! Their communication was better than any other places I have ever stayed!!!
I really enjoyed my family vacation. The cabin was close to everything. I just wish that I could get my money back for the cleaning fee. the cabin was not clean before our arrival the bathrooms, bedding and towels where dirty. I was kinda sad that i had to spend money to make my stay comfortable for my family. we stayed for 7days. they brought fresh towels by the send day. The location was wonderful. even with all of that going on we still managed to have a good time.

In the welcome message, we ask that you please notify us of any concerns so that we can have them corrected for you. And if you recall, I messaged you one day after check-in to make sure everything was up to your expectations. To which you responded, "Thanks". We want every guest to be more than satisfied with their stay and would have been more than happy to correct any discrepancies if given the opportunity.
The drive way was a little tricky Bathrooms were really small
No real tv. You had to have your own online bye so you can sign in.
We brought a HDMI cable to be able to connect our to tv from home but tvs are connected to the wall so you dont have access to the back. Internet was great! Hot tub was nice for two people.
We came for peace and quiet along with seeing TN. Slight upgrades and maintenance would have been nice...such as doing a sweep of the initial cob webs in the doorways, fixing boards here and there, and screens on the windows so we didn't have to constantly run the air conditioner. More cutlery/cookware would have been good too. These are just minor though. The hot tub was used daily, and even though we were by other properties, we didn't see anyone. This is our first vacation with no pets or kids;just great friends. It was a fabulous stay.

Misleading listing
There’s one bedroom. Not two. There’s just a bed at the top of the stairs. No doors. No privacy in the second “bedroom” if you can call it that.

Please read the listing prior to booking. This is clearly stated in the description and therefore an unfair and devastating review. This is a very sweet family friendly cabin. If it's not a good fit for you, we'd much rather you find something more comfortable and accommodating for your specific needs.
The pictures showing the property made it look comfortable. This is very deceiving it was very, very small.Halfway thru our stay the air conditioner froze up. The hot water was an amber color and it had a very nasty smell. On our first evening the kids were in the hot tub and a bear came right up on the porch. My husband stood in between the bear and kids while i got them to safety. Needless to say this was very scary.

While I'm glad you were able to see the bear family, I do wish it could have been less traumatic for you. In the future, please know Air horns are a good way of keeping them at a safe distance. I'm also disappointed to hear your overall experience was suboptimal. We are always happy to respond to any discrepancies as most are easily remedied, just please reach out to us as we had no idea. We want our guest to have their privacy but also want them to know we are available if needed. Well water can sometimes be unpredictable, but rest assured, the water here has been treated, filtered and tested for highest quality and safety. It likely just needed some salt added to the system.
As for the size of the cabin, it is a total of 1000 sf. There are 500sf of living space downstairs and 500sf upstairs for the two bedrooms. I will add these numbers to the listing for the sake of clarity but please know the pictures are true to size and are in no way distorted or designed to deceive.
First, we love staying in this area. It is very close to everything and there are short cuts to make it an easier travel.
It is obvious that the owner has made some upgrades and renovations. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Lots of deck space and beds were very comfy. However, be careful if you are tall. The ceiling in the downstairs is kinda low as are the shower door cross bar at the top. Not a big deal but just be careful.
The only other thing is the driveway on one side was very steep but there was fresh gravel and even a dig out section to park in. We fit two larger vehicles with no problem.
Overall it was a great cabin and we would recommend it for a couples getaway or a smaller family.
The cabin was decorated with Christmas Cheer and the location was perfect. My boys were in heaven. The size of the cabin was perfect for my sweet family of 5. The owners were great to work with and we can’t wait to visit again. ❤️
