CHECK-IN: We send our check in instructions out the morning of your check in typically between 9AM and 10AM here on the VRBO message stream.

CONTACTING US: You have three hosts always watching the VRBO message stream. If there are any questions or concerns please contact us via VRBO first. We live in the same mountain community of your cabin, just down the street. If you need us we can be there quickly.

DRIVING IN: The road is a county maintained gravel road the entire way until the last 1/4 mile, and then the road is a community maintained gravel road up to the house. You have the entire house and grounds as yours except the Garage.

GETTING IN: Provided by either a LockBox or by meeting you at the door depending on what we set up with you in advance.

CONFIRMING YOUR RESERVATION : When you book with us we will ask you for an exact person count of guests, number and type of cars coming, agreement with your house rules found in the “House Rules” section of the listing, and an appropriate sign off on pets if any or that you don’t have any if that cabin does not allow pets. We ask that all these items be agreed to in the message stream at booking.

BEFORE YOU BOOK PLEASE READ : The OTHER THINGS TO NOTE section of our cabin description below.

HOST AVAILABILITY : We live in the same mountain community of your cabin, just down the street. If you need us we can be there quickly.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE -
PETS: Are only welcome if we discuss them in advance of booking your trip for our approval. We only allow Dogs. We need to know their BREED, WEIGHT (we allow typically under 50 pounds of total pet weight, but ask us if larger), AGE (No puppies) and the PET COUNT (generally we allow 1, but if they are very small maybe two). We have a PET FEE between $10/night and $35/night depending how big the pet is. We require agreement to use a PET CRATE if you ever leave them in the house. Pets are not allowed on or in beds or on furniture. We don't allow any pets when the cabin is at maximum human person count.

THE CABIN IS IN THE MOUNTAINS: The driving approach to the cabin requires that you are comfortable driving up and down small gravel roads in the woods. Our cabin is on a county maintained gravel road that is fine for all cars Spring, Summer and Fall. During winter please come prepared for driving potentially on snowy roads and be certain you can take care of yourselves and car (snowchains, or AWD, or 4x4 are the best options). In the event of a winter storm during your stay we will instruct you on where your vehicles will be placed for your safety, this may involve a short walk from that location to the cabin door. We’ve had thousands of guests

GUEST COUNT: We only permit the guest staying at the cabin on the cabin grounds or in the cabin. You can not change or add guests without notifying us for approval. We reserve the right to not approve an increasing guest count prior to the trip, and we reserve the right to stop your trip if your guest count increases without asking our permission first. We will ask you to confirm your guest count at the time of booking.

PROVIDED : Linens, Towels, fully stocked Kitchen (see photo), coffee and amenities, a bottle of wine and chocolate samples, propane for grill and all that you see pictured. We do not provide other food of any type.

WIFI - Your internet is Satellite based. That means it has a delay and is not ideal for 2 way or streaming communication such ZOOM or Netflix. During a storm the weather can cloud out the connection and your WiFi may degrade. We have had guests work, game and play in our cabin with out issue, we point this out as there are no buried cables or fiber on our remote properties and weather can be an issue. So if its a huge requirement to stream video then we may not be the cabin for you.

SCALEABLE PRICING: We do practice scaleable pricing in this cabin. Your cleaning fee is the lowest around for the first 4 guests, after that pricing increases $35/night/person until the cabin reaches its capacity of six persons. This allows couples coming to not have to pay as much for cleaning as those who occupy all rooms / beds This is our method of providing a discount to small groups.

CABIN LICENSE: We are providing you a License to use our Cabin similar to that of renting a car, as a licensee you are bound to the cabin rules at all times, and you forgo the rights of a "lease" or "tenant". Violations of our cabin rules can result in your immediate removal from our cabin, by renting our cabin you agree to these terms. If you'd like a full copy of the license please let us know in advance and one will be provided to you.

About the host

Host profile image
We've been coming to the mountains for 25 years and slowly gathered up a set of family homes. During the pandemic we made it full time and "came to the mountains" and have not looked back. We are active fitness junkies, love the vacation rental experience we provide, like to meet our guests and enjoy their stories, and we enjoy the mountains as well as sailing at different locations around the world. Our accommodations are highly rated and we are experienced SuperHosts on other platforms, trying VRBO out for the first time.
