I stayed here with a friend while visiting the Seattle area and national parks. It was a great place for us to stay with all the basics we needed, including parking!
Suite was very clean and cozy. The only drawback was location. Hard to find if you have a larger vehicle parking would be an issue. Our host was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I may have had. I would spend another vacation at this location.
The VRBO was very clean, and our favorite space was the bedrooms. The family is very nice and made us feel right at home. If anything went wrong, the homeowner was quick to get things back on track. I would highly recommend this cozy space.
Modern, spotless full unit with great amenities & superior host. Private, pretty grounds. Located between urban attractions and eastern suburbs toward Cascades.
Nice private lower level living space. Very clean and good location with plenty of room. Nice kitchen. Even thought this is a Vrbo, owners live in the main part of the house upstairs, which is weird. Vrbo boasts that they only work with single home spaces. Also, a note in the bathroom read that you cannot flush any toilet paper due to plumbing. All TP must be placed in bin next to the toilet. This was quite unpleasant and strange to me.
It was a great space for the time we needed. The listing doesn’t clearly say this is the bottom floor of the hosts personal home. There is access to the rental area from inside there home which was a little uncomfortable.
The encouragement to not flush used toilet paper was odd for my family. It was posted in the bathroom and made most of us feel a little weird.
But we had no known issues with the host family. Overall it was great for the price and convience .
We booked this property because it was advertised as an “entire home” rental, but upon arrival realized it is actually the basement of a home with the host family living upstairs. While the listing mentions a “guest area,” it was not clear that this was a shared property or that it was a basement unit. Had I known this, I would not have booked here.Another major issue was the plumbing situation. A sign in the bathroom instructed us not to flush toilet paper and to place used paper in the trash can instead. This is not only inconvenient but also unsanitary for guests, especially when combined with the noticeable sewage odor in the basement. In my opinion, if a home cannot handle standard plumbing use, it should not be rented out to guests. We had booked this for our son’s baseball tournament and, because it was the end of a long season of travel, we decided to just push through and stay since we only needed a place to sleep and shower. Still, the experience was disappointing and not what was advertised.Bottom line: This property was misrepresented on VRBO, and between the shared-space reality and the plumbing issues, I would have chosen a hotel instead had I known the truth upfront.
I really loved this space! I had my two year old granddaughter over to spend the night with me on Monday and it was perfect for us. My only complaints: 1. there was a strange odor in the property. I wasn't sure what it was, but it was very strong the entire time I was there. A little musty/moldy smell?? 2. There was a LOT of noise coming from upstairs on Mon and Tues evening. It was loud enough that my granddaughter kept being startled. It sounded as if furniture were being moved around off and on for 2 hours one night. Other than these two issues, it was a GREAT property!
We absolutely love this property! The communication with the owner was excellent and The house was exactly as advertised advertised it was a great stay stay fully equipped kitchen and private backyard.
Th place was amazing very cute, quite and clean. My parents come to visit from out of town and they loved it. It was definitely a home away from home. David the host is amazing and answered any messages in a timely manner. Would definitely book here again.
Not to far from anything. In a quiet area and there is a elementary school right up the street with a little lap track, so you can walk or jog.
Dave was great. Very responsive and timely. I come to Washington every summer and I will try and book this place a again.
The experience we had at the location is extremely positive. When we first walked in we noticed immediately how nice and neat everything was. We had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable and pleasant. Having a kitchen and a whole guest house for ourselves was a total plus. We loved the casita and will definately coming back next time we visit. For anyone who is looking for a comfortable, clean, tranquil we highly recommended it.
