Welcome to our beautiful 175m² house, perfect for accommodating up to 14 people.

Its name "iluka" is an Aboriginal word meaning "between land and sea".

Ideally located for easy exploration of the entire Arcachon Bay area, this house offers all the necessary amenities for a memorable holiday with family or friends "between land and sea" indeed 😉

- 1st floor: 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds and 1 dormitory that can be divided into 3 sections with 4 single beds, 2 folding beds and 2 children's sofa beds, bathroom and toilet

For optimal comfort, memory foam mattresses and pillows are fitted on all beds.

The swimming pool is heated by a heat pump, is open from 8am to 9:30pm from April 4th to November 12th, and is secured by a gate and a solar-powered electric roller shutter mounted on rails to keep the area around the pool clear.

The spa is a Norwegian-style bubbling bath; it is completely drained and cleaned after each rental; it is open from 8am to 9:30pm and is available all year round.

*Access codes will be provided after a security deposit of the "credit card imprint" type (not cashed, not debited and cancelled within 15 days after the end of the rental) via the secure website swikly.fr (the largest rental deposit website in France, which we have been using without any problems for over 5 years) to avoid sending checks by mail, bank transfers, etc.

*Ideal Location: Situated near a main road and minutes from the city center, offering easy access to local amenities.

*Secure Neighbourhood: The neighbourhood benefits from the presence of a fire station and a police station just 100 meters away, ensuring peace of mind. The gate and parking area are monitored by cameras.

*Peaceful Atmosphere: In order to preserve the tranquility of the neighbourhood, PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED and outside noise must remain at a reasonable level and compatible with a very quiet residential area.

Music is not allowed outdoors and all outdoor noise must be very limited from 9:30 pm.

The swimming pool, spa and bowling green must not be used after this time.

🌟 Booking this accommodation implies acceptance of the following "family" usage rules, which may result in immediate termination of your stay without compensation if they are not respected. 🌟

- PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED and outside noise must remain at a reasonable level and compatible with a very quiet residential area.

- Music is not allowed outdoors at any time of day.

- All outside noise must be very limited from 10:00 PM onwards.

- The swimming pool, spa and bowling green are available from 8:00 am to 9:30 pm only and must not be used after this time.

- Eating is prohibited in the swimming pool and spa.

- Smoking or vaping is prohibited inside the house.

Cars must be parked in the four reserved and secure spaces within the property (the parking area is monitored by camera for your safety) or in the two spaces along the street in front of the house, but never in front of the neighbours. Additional parking is available 100 meters away, along the edge of the forest, if needed.

- Charging electric vehicles with indoor or outdoor outlets is prohibited (high risk of damage or fire to the home's electrical system, which has not been designed for this). Fortunately, there are many fast charging stations nearby 🙂 Any damage resulting from failure to comply with this rule will be entirely at the expense of the guests (the connected electricity meter sends notifications in case of electric car charging).

- Wifi should never be disabled as it is necessary for controlling the heat pumps for hot water, heating or cooling, fire alarms, etc…

- The tenant must remain reachable by phone or message during their stay, in case…

- End-of-stay cleaning is included; we simply ask that you leave the kitchen area and griddle clean and put your rubbish in the containers provided on site 😊

*** Due to past issues with inconsiderate tenants, stays will now be immediately terminated without compensation in the event of non-compliance with these rules, a complaint from neighbours confirmed by noise level readings, or a police intervention on site, and a fine of 500 euros will be applied. ***

No stress either, by respecting our neighbours as if they were your own neighbours, the house will allow you to spend excellent moments with your loved ones and to enjoy the exceptional environment of the Arcachon bay area as we ourselves do very often, with family or with our friends.
