Perfect location overlooking the bay. Plenty of sleeping accommodations and areas to relax and socialize. The wrap around deck and furnishings were perfect to enjoy the outdoors. Thank you for your hospitality.
Truly, our entire stay was lovely. Pam was available for us if we needed anything at all. The views are astoundingly beautiful; this was our favorite home away from home this summer for sure.
I stayed here with my family and sisters, and one of my sisters brought her husband and two children. The house had enough space for all of us to be together and yet have space to ourselves. We had a lovely time. We came for my daughter’s graduation and would recommend this space to anyone.
The house is great ... except that the bathroom to bedroom ratio is not well explained in the description. For instance, one of the "bathrooms" is not an actual bathroom, but the "components" of a bathroom directly in the master bedroom on the upper level. This made it impossible from a practical perspective for anyone OTHER than the couple in that room to use those facilities. in the lower level, the "3rd bedroom" wasn't really a bedroom, but a bed in the "common space," which required the others in those actual bedrooms to have to walk through that bedroom to get to theirs ... nothing to be done for either of those challenges, but i don't think the home's description was very accurate in terms of what the house offered.
A great spot for a group of friends to gather. Cozy living spaces and comfortable beds. 6 fully private bedrooms, one is at the bottom of the stairs in the basement so will be accessed by all who stay downstairs. Lack of blind for the sky light in the master bedroom and in the downstairs living area with futon made it difficult to sleep past the early sunrise. Plenty of bottled water was included as the house uses well water, which is very metallic. We met the owner, Pam, at her ice cream shop down the road and she is lovely and easy to communicate with.
We stayed here with an extended family group and we loved the house and the location. We had pkenty of room for everyone to sleep, and the living area and kitchen were great because we had plenty of room to all be together. The deck was a great spot for coffee every morning and we loved the view. A couple of nights we used the fire pit and that was really nice. We felt we had everything we needed and really enjoyed the few days we were there. One of the best things was that the bedrooms had air conditioning. Many of the houses we've rented before did not, and it makes a huge difference. We didn't have any issues while we were there, except I had trouble getting the key back into the lockbox but that's just me. We almost had to reach out to the owner the first day because my mother has mobility issues and almost could not get up the front steps. After a little while she was able to, but had I called she probably would have told me there was some kind of a ramp in the garage (which we did not notice until our last day!). Anyway, we all really enjoyed the house and were very comfortable. I would recommend this property and would definitely look at staying here again.
Beautiful property with amazing views! The hosts were easy to communicate with, beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. Great place to relax and unwind!
This home was amazing and accommodated my family perfectly. The views of the water are stunning. There was lots of parking and plenty of rooms for gathering and visiting.
My friends and I rented this house for a long weekend and could not be happier to have picked this spot. The hosts were kind, considerate, prompt in their communications, and full of useful tips and ideas for how to spend our time in Harpswell and the surrounding area. The house was clean and lovely, and had everything we needed (and then some!) to fully enjoy our time.
A+++, would stay again.
Lovely house - sunny and plenty of space to spread out inside and out. The pictures don’t do it justice! Perfect for a family gathering. Will book it again!
