My friends and I stayed here for our annual friends ski trip to Sugarloaf. The house was perfect for our group, super close to The Loaf and the fireplace was perfect for a day after skiing! This is a great place to stay and we would highly recommend!
The hosts were wonderful. We had originally booked to stay with our dog, but did not bring her and the host was happy to return our pet deposit. The host could not have been more responsive. The place was clean, cozy and welcoming. The towels were plush and the kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed. I am looking forward to a return viist.
Dustin provided us the BEST experience for our weekend trip! The location was PERFECT, there's even a shuttle pick up across the road. Bonus is our pup was able to tag along.
House had a great set up and was just what we wanted -- cozy, clean, and close to the mountain! The kids loved having their "own" space and bathroom and we liked that there were two living spaces on the same floor for post-skiing hangouts. Would definitely stay here again.
Really lovely house. Has everything you need. Bedroom options are good for a group. Very close to Sugarloaf. Awesome that 2 dogs are allowed, I wish more properties did this! Would definitely stay here again.
Our group of 8 had an incredible time at this property. It was perfectly laid out, well-stocked, and located on the Valley shuttle route. I can’t say enough good things and look forward to returning.
We had a really nice stay in this home. Heated garage was a big plus as well as the entrance way to leave the ski boots. Super close to the mountain entrance and offsite restaurants. You can't go wrong with this one. Great hosts!!
Dustin’s cabin exceeded our expectations. It fit 9 adults comfortably, and is a quick 5 minute drive to Sugarloaf Mountain. We all had a great time, and the ping pong table in the garage is an added bonus!
The house appears brand new and is very convenient (5 minutes) to Sugarloaf.
The kitchen has everything you need, and there's a well stocked country store with food and supplies about a mile away.
Overall, a good value for a large family or small group of skiers.

Our family of 5 (adults & older teens) enjoyed a week stay here the week after Christmas to ski at Sugarloaf. This Carrabassett Valley Cabin is comfortable, cozy and exceeded our expectations. Well stocked kitchen made meals easy to make or bring in, and lots of space to spread out or spend time together, was perfect for us. Only a 7 min drive to the mountain for skiing & restaurants and 15 min drive to Kingfield to the local grocery store & restaurants makes the location ideal.
Dustin was very responsive with any questions we had and accommodated an early check-in which was appreciated by car sick kids! Highly recommend for skiing Sugarloaf and with the river right across the road, I'm sure it is a beautiful spot in spring, summer & fall, as well.
This Carrabassett valley property was the perfect spot for our family to stay for the wedding weekend of our family friend. The wedding was held at Sugarloaf, which was just a quick drive. The turn off to the ski mountain and golf course was just 1 mile away. The wonderful cabin was pet friendly, very clean and had everything that we needed. It was easy to ask any questions of Dustin and his responses were quick. I would definitely recommend staying at this property. It was warm and welcoming!!
This was a great place for a small group to use! A nice cozy place that was very clean and looks new. Living room, dining room and kitchen are open design and there's a connected TV room and screened in porch. Nice roomy bedrooms and bathrooms. Wifi worked great.
Amazing home with lots of space. I rented this place for the weekend of the sugarloaf marathon. It was on the course at exactly the halfway point. Ideal for family to watch me run. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved it!
Our group of 4 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs stayed very comfortably in this clean, well-appointed cabin while we skied at Sugarloaf. The layout of the house is thoughtful, and our kids loved the basement bunk bed room. There is a great garage and mud room for dealing with ski gear. We kept our dogs on leash outside because of the proximity of the highway, but a 2 minute drive down the road takes you to the parking lot to access the Narrow Gauge trail, which was a beautiful spot to walk them off leash so they could get some exercise. Kitchen was clean and fun to cook in, sheets were soft, check in and out were as easy as could be, everything was great!
This is a great home that feels like a home. It’s a great gathering place with inviting space to spread out. Right when you walk in the door there is a gear space to comfortably leave all your ski/ride gear. Whoever is cooking can enjoy everyone at the same time that they are relaxing after a long ski day. There is a warm gas stove fireplace that adds the right amount of ambiance. There is a room right off the kitchen if you want to sit back for some tv watching. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone.
Honestly this place was better than I even expected from the pictures. Very roomy, clean, and up to date. Sleeps 10 easily, and is super close to the mountain. Would definitely stay here again.
