Serene Apartment in Historic Hyde Park South Tampa

This 1949 apartment is on the first floor of a 5-plex, in the heart of the Hyde Park Historic District. It is very charming and is in a safe, tree-lined area. It is within walking distance to many different restaurants, shops, parks and entertainment venues. It is also walking distance to nearby beautiful Bayshore Boulevard, which has 4 miles of continuous waterfront sidewalk.

The apartment is about 600sq ft. It has a covered, screened in back porch/laundry room with its own washer/dryer for the exclusive use of guests in this unit. It also includes a brand new fully equipped kitchen with an island/bar and counter stools for dining, a family room with a queen-sized sofa bed, a bedroom with a king-sized bed, dresser, bedside tables and a closet, and a full bathroom with a shower (no tub). It has tile floors, two ceiling fans, two mini split air conditioning/heating units, and its own dedicated off-street parking.

All guests staying in all units at the property have shared use of the concrete table/benches in the front yard of the property.

We stayed in these units many times over the last few years while our son was a student at UT. The units are always very clean and well prepared. Location, location, location! It is a cute home in the middle of the historic district. Hyde Park is one of Tampa's most charming areas, a walking neighborhood with tree-lined streets, restaurants of all classes, clubs for the younger set, and shopping for all. The Sunday Farmer's market is very popular, and Bayshore Blvd is truly a gem.
