About this property

This private wooded paradise is perched on the gorge just a 7 minute walk from the restaurants and bars of the Downtown Ithaca Commons. Cornell and Ithaca College are just a 20 minute walk away as well. Hike the Mulholland Wildflower Preserve and stunning 1st Dam just down the street. Guests have been loving the 1 bedroom "Urban Cabin" in the same house since 2016. So the hosts have opened up the entire 2nd floor apartment for visitors to enjoy the soothing sounds of the creek and gorgeous surroundings. The largest bedroom has a balcony overlooking Giles Street.

Vrbo in Ithaca

Very clean and comfortable. Pretty wooded backyard with a stream. Our stay was for 2 nights, so we did not make use of the kitchen appliances. Nice location close to downtown.

Beautiful location, very accomdating host

Communication with Alicia was great. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The space was very clean and was stocked with what we needed. We had our infant with us and there were baby gates and a pack and play available. The views and outdoor space was beautiful, with a few places to sit above the river as well as a trail down to the river near the property. The location was perfect for walking to restauarnts and coffee at the commons, and Alicia provided us with many recommendations. We hope to be back to stay again!

Great spot for college visits

Thank u for beautiful and quiet spot to come back to after walking the hills of Cornell all day. Loved all the nature right in town and this apartment really highlighted that. Easy parking was such a plus! Love the mud room to organize the gear. We had everything we needed. Apartment is great for visiting Cornell or Ithaca. We did not walk to town or Cornell due to length of uphill roads, but easy to drive and pay for parking elsewhere. Thanks
