Super private cabin nestled in the woods. It is the closest cabin to the Elk Visitors Center. If you don't mind the hills, you could easily walk to the Center! Perfect for a couples get-away. Relax and enjoy the quaint atmosphere with vaulted ceilings, rough cut beams, full kitchen, authentic 100 year old tin ceilings and tree tops out every window! Sleep in an antique bed while embracing modern conveniences. Beautiful year round location to sit on the porch with coffee or enjoy the firepit on cool evenings. Perfect cabin where rustic meets romance. All of this with a gas pot-bellied fireplace. So close to everything, yet so private.

The photos really don’t capture how special this place is...it’s far more charming in person. The hosts truly go out of their way to make it warm and welcoming. It’s conveniently close to all the local venues, yet tucked away from the crowds. It's a definite recommend! And, we're looking forward to going back.

Awesome stay this was our third time staying here and we enjoyed it as much as our first time. Saw a lot of elk and deer! Highly recommend the cabin - it was exactly as described and a great location for base camp to view the elk.

This was such a charming and lovely cabin! The hosts were so gracious and even decorated for the holiday! It was everything that I could’ve wanted and more! A storm hit on our final day and they were so kind and had us for an extra night to ensure that we had a safe drive home!! Very clean, fast wifi, salt for the driveway, plenty of water jugs for drinking water, and lots of clean towels. All of the little things really do matter when you’re staying out in the woods!

The cabin is in the perfect spot for easy access to everything. We were pleasantly surprised when entering the cabin, it is beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the little porch and hearing the elk. The fire pit and lightning make the outdoors so relaxing. We had a chance to meet the owner and he is so nice and accommodating. We have already booked for next year!

We are a local family who knows this area well. Once you have decided to stay in our quaint cabin on Winslow Hill, we can offer advise on the best places to see elk, enjoy the local breakfasts, dinners, wineries or hunting areas.

We knew when we decided to build a cabin, that location is the most important factor, so we certainly wanted Winslow Hill, home of the Elk Herd. There is an elk trail that goes right by the front corner window of the cabin, maybe they will come visit you!
