Old cellar located in the city centre of Marans entirely until 2025 being about 200 metres from the marina and the Sèvre Niortaise where you will find restaurants and bars.
Many activities located nearby (Bike rental 50m away, electric boats, canoes and paddles 500m away).
Covered market 100m away which takes place every Tuesday morning.

Gateway to the Marais Poitevin, located between land and ocean, between the Vendée and the Charente-Maritime, the town of Marans is full of surprises.
20 km from La Rochelle, 35 km from the Ile de Ré, 10 km from the sea and 40 km from the Vendée beaches, 80 km from the Puy du Fou and 1h20 from Futuroscope.

Pier for electric boat trips along the water, Marans is the ideal starting point for a fun and friendly discovery of the riches of the Marais Poitevin, or simply to enjoy its natural serenity.

Nous avons été très déçus car le gîte qui nous a été proposé n’était pas celui que nous avions réservé sur Abritel et qui avait été confirmé par VRBO. Nous n’avons pas fait attention que la confirmation faite par le propriétaire était conforme à ce qui nous a été proposé mais pas du tout à ce que nous avions réservé.Gîte proposé pour 6 personnes mais un seul canapé 3 places pour regarder la TV, une cuisine salle à manger sans aucune ouverture sur l’extérieur, gite situé au fond d’un impasse avec des marches d’escalier à franchir ( dur pour des personnes âgées).Heureusement que l’ensemble était propre bien pourvu pour la cuisine deux salles d’eau avec douches agréables et fonctionnelles, literie confortable.Dommage que le propriétaire ne soit pas correct.
