Darling Wild Dunes Cottage with free golf cart


Enjoy the world class amenities of Wild Dunes resort, just minutes from historic Charleston, from our centrally located cottage, overlooking the 1st hole of the Tom Fazzio 'Harbor Course'. It sits directly across from the resort's main swim, and tennis area and is just a short two block walk to the beach and Grand Pavilion/Boardwalk area. This cottage boast the most inviting porch on Wild Dunes with a constant low-country marsh breeze.

Professionally decorated, the cottage has three bedrooms. The master has a king bed, private bath and opens to porch that overlooks a lagoon and the golf course. The other two bedrooms share a bath. One guest room has a queen and the other guest room has a full over full bunk bed with a full size trundle bed and opens to an outside deck that leads down to the lagoon. All beds have luxury 300 count cotton sateen sheets. Just perfect when you've had too much fun in the sun!

The living room and dining room (with a table for eight) look out to the fabulous porch and are decorated in bright happy colors. 48' flat screen TV is High Definition . They offer a cool retreat on summer days or a cozy place to curl up with a good book.

The kitchen boast all the utensils, appliances, and entertaining pieces you could ask for. All the serving pieces compliment the decor of this darling cottage.

Now for the porch (everyone's favorite!) It runs across the back of the cottage with a wicker dining table for four and the seating area has a loveseat, rocking chair, and chaise lounge. The nautical navy and white decor sets the mood for enjoying both morning coffee and evening cocktails with friends while relaxing with gentle island breezes. It is a favorite of all who stay here!

We offer a free four person golf cart to enjoy while you are at the house. It's a great way to get around and enjoy the resort!

Staying within the gated community of Wild Dunes, affords great relaxation for families of all ages. Whether relaxing on the beach, sipping cool island drinks up at the Grand Pavilion, or strolling along winding nature trails, there is something for everyone!

Once you decide this is the cottage for you, the owners can direct you to the best places to rent bikes, beach toys, umbrellas, and chairs. All delivered directly to your doorstep. They have done all the research for the best deals on the island!

Annual honeymoon trip and it was a great location, convenient to all WD amenities. There was some leftover ice in the icemaker that had melted and re-froze that I messaged the property manager about when we got there, hence the four stars for cleanliness. BUT - they responded immediately and had the crew come out to clean that out. Great response from them, and the person renting it out. We would definitely stay there again with no hesitation.

Wonderful weekend at Wild Dunes!

Beth was excellent and very professional to work with as a host. The house is as described and lovely. We had a group of 8 adults plus friends visiting for dinner and it was plenty of space. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, grill, clear instructions for amenities and golf cart, and very responsive to last minute guest passes. We loved our stay and will definitely book again with Beth.

Fabulous porch

Best week of vacation I have had in a long time. We saw 2 deer and a raccoon in the back yard while sitting on that wonderful porch. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the golf cart so much. Would love to go back .

This property is amazing! It exceeded our expectations on every level! The furnishings are gorgeous. The property is well maintained. The screened porch is where we ate every meal and enjoyed relaxing at the end of the day. Having the golf cart was the cherry on top! It made it so easy to take a quick ride to the beach or pool. It is maybe a 5 min ride to the beach or pool. We paid to have chairs and umbrella out each day. We grabbed a cooler and our towels and were beaching in minutes. We are booking again in 2023!

Great Condo in a Great Location

This condo was great, and the screened in porch was the perfect place to hang out with friends. The golf cart made getting around super easy. My only complaint is the amount of work that is expected when there was a cleaning fee. We were expected to strip all the beds, do two load of towels and run the dishwasher. In addition, there was no laundry soap to do the towels nor was there dishwasher detergent to run the dishwasher.

Beautifully furnished house on golf course

Very comfortable home with a fantastic screened porch within walking distance of the beach. Manager was very easy to work with. Even though one room had bunk beds, perhaps not the best home for very young kids. White sofa and lots of beautiful decorative pieces. We were told beforehand that we’d get a one day supply of household items. For the price we paid, we felt that the owner could have been a bit more génerous. We flew cross-country. A few bars of soap would have been a nice addition. Last comment…BEST king mattress ever!! Thanks for a great vacation!

perfect for small families

we had a wonderful time. precious condo. so close to all that WD and IOP have to offer. Three issues but nothing that detracted from our vacation: the sliding glass door to the master does not lock. not sure how to rig it unfortunately. be careful with small children and pets. there is at least 1 alligator living in the pond behind the house. we saw "Al" several times. at night - light on or no light - a literal swarm of flying bugs bombards the house. we spent 15 minutes chasing and killing them. it was comical! just come in through the LR slider from the porch at night. such is the low country!

My family hs owned this house for 35 years (Before Wild Dunes was called 'Wild Dunes' - It was Isle of Palms Beach and Racquette Club. It has been through Hurrican Hugo and came out just fine!
