Le Logis du Vieux Château

Ideally located approximately 35 km from Bordeaux and 15 km from Saint Emilion, the Logis du Vieux Château is the perfect place to discover the many treasures of the area: the vineyards and village of Saint Emilion, the fortified town of Libourne and its historic center, the charming villages of Libourne and Entre-Deux-Mers, and many more. Our cottage is located in the countryside in a pleasant and peaceful setting, perfect for a relaxing stay with family or friends. It is housed in an old house that once housed the caretaker of the medieval Vieux Château de Génissac, located on the estate. During your stay, you can take a private tour of this 14th-century castle and learn about its history. Our cottage can comfortably accommodate 6 people; The ground floor comprises an entrance hall with a laundry area, a kitchen/dining room with a fireplace insert, a TV lounge, a bedroom with a 180x200cm bed and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms, each with a 140x190cm bed and two 90x200cm beds, as well as a bathroom with a bathtub and toilet. The cottage has reversible air conditioning in the living areas and bedrooms. You'll enjoy a private, enclosed garden with garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying your meals outdoors. The cottage is adjoining another home, and there are animals on the property: horses, donkeys, and chickens. Gas for cooking (if the cooktop uses this energy), water within reasonable consumption limits, and a flat rate of 8 kWh/day for electricity. Sheets provided. Kitchen linens provided.
