Le Logis du Vieux Château

Ideally located approximately 35 km from Bordeaux and 15 km from Saint-Émilion, the Logis du Vieux Château is the perfect place to discover the many treasures of the region: the vineyards and village of Saint-Émilion, the fortified town of Libourne and its historic center, the charming villages of the Libournais and Entre-deux-Mers regions, and much more. Our gîte is situated in the countryside in a pleasant and peaceful setting, ideal for a relaxing stay with family or friends. It is located in a former house that once housed the caretaker of the medieval Old Castle of Génissac, situated on the estate. During your stay, you can take a private tour of this 14th-century castle and learn about its history. Our gîte comfortably accommodates 6 people. On the ground floor, it comprises an entrance hall with a laundry area, a kitchen/dining room with an insert fireplace, a living room with a television, a bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200cm), and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms, one with a double bed (140x190cm) and the other with two single beds (90x200cm), as well as a bathroom with a bathtub and toilet. The cottage has reversible air conditioning in the living areas and bedrooms. You will enjoy a private, enclosed garden with garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for relaxing and dining al fresco. The cottage is semi-detached, and there are animals on the property: a horse, a donkey, and chickens. Baby equipment is available: a travel cot, a high chair, and a changing table. Cleaning and towels are available for an additional fee. Gas for cooking (if the cooktop uses this energy), water within reasonable consumption limits, and a flat rate of 8 kWh/day for electricity.
