About this property

We would like to welcome you to our newly remodeled, Modern, 1 Bedroom, 1 Full Bathroom, 650 square feet Apartment.

Note! There is 1 flight of stairs and no elevator access to this apartment

There are plenty of large windows in the Living Room, Dining Room and Bedroom, with 2" Faux wood louvers.

This Apartment will sleep 3 with a King size bed and a Sofa/Bed.
A Cot for a 4th person is located in the Bedroom Closet with all bedding on shelf above.
There is also a remote, multi speed fan over the bed and dining table.

The Living/Dining Rooms look out on to the Aqua colored Pool...especially beautiful when lit at night!

The Full Bath has a Tub/Shower with Shower Curtains and a wall mount dispenser which will provide you with Shampoo, Body Wash and Conditioner. A Vanity gives plenty of counter space with a large mirror. A dimmer switch has been added to provide your choice between a bright functioning light or a dim, early morning light...Your choice!

Our building is located near Griffith Park where 3 freeways merge in Glendale. Interstate 5, U.S. Highway 101 and State Route 134. No matter what direction you decide to venture, you are close to an on-ramp.

Enjoy a well maintained Swimming Pool with Beach Towels and 2 lounge chairs, Bench and single seating.

We wanted to be responsible with our pool so we provided 100% Solar Heating but remember...Most of the year, the Solar is more than adequate but if you are visiting us in the winter, the days may reach 80 degrees but the nights are long and cold leaving the water on the cool side.

Hot water for the building is also supplied by Solar but there is no need for worry about lack of hot water here. We have 5 Large Capacity Storage Tanks and a Large backup water heater...Just in Case!

We have a 2nd level deck, overlooking the pool on one side and Floor to ceiling windows on the other side which provides an eating/reading area with a glass table and 4 chairs. There are also 2 bench seats.

There is an on-site Laundry with 2 Washers, 2 Dryers and a folding table.

A covered, under building Parking space is provided with lots of street parking as well.

A Wall Heater and an in-wall Air Conditioner provide for heat and Air Conditioning.

For the enjoyment of the entire family, we have a 55" Smart Television in the Living Room and a 33" Smart TV in the Bedroom with 100 mbps wireless capability.

Our fully equipped Kitchen has a Refrigerator, Flat Top Range, Microwave and a Large Stainless Steel Sink.

Appliances include a Keurig Coffee Maker with pods, a Waffle Maker, Toaster, Blender and all the Cookware and Bakeware you may need to make your own creations!

You will also enjoy our many varieties of teas and sweeteners!

Amazing location

We really enjoyed staying in this property. The hosts are first rate and have thought of everything - and the location is superb. Perfect for Universal Hollywood in particular - which was our main reason for visiting. The thoughtfulness of providing groceries on arrival sets this property, and specifically its owners, apart from other rentals. Everything looks like it does in the pictures and the neighbourhood feels really safe - which was a consideration for us when booking. This rental is a credit to Vrbo - thank you for letting us stay here! We loved it.

Glendale; Centrally Located (to what we wanted to do in and around LA)

My kids (3rd & 5th graders) wanted to go to Universal Studios for their spring break. Looking at the Giants season schedule, I wanted to take them to a baseball game. Win-win, with this Glendale Vrbo rental! It’s close enough to the 5 freeway, for access, but not so close as to catch folks using the surface streets to Waze-around traffic jams (gotta admit, I avoided rush hour driving). The apt’s interior styling is exactly as pictured and there were no surprises. The buildings exterior is very understated and if you’re unfamiliar with California apartment architecture of the era, you will be forgiven for mistaking it for an early 1970’s office building among the block’s other business addresses. The greatest asset was the on-site building management team of Ray and Sandy. They were available to help out in person when I had trouble with the coded lock. The kitchen was stocked with cooking tools and eggs for our first breakfast😋 Maybe it was leftovers from the prior guests, who were from Europe, but it was great to have cereal in the cupboards and milk and butter in the fridge! The one caveat I have on this Vrbo is that there is no security for your car. Parking is in a carport built into the building and it’s a tight squeeze and there was inches of clearance for my 2014 Mazda SUV. If I had special tires that raised the roof-height even a little above manufacturer standards, I would have been in trouble. But all went well; would definitely stay again.

Easy check-in

Excellent communication, made it easy to check in. Loved having essentials in the fridge and cupboards. My only suggestion would be to maybe have a foamie for the cot, to help make it a bit more comfortable. We would stay here again! Thank you!

Great location and nice stay

We stayed here while visiting family and we loved the proximity to attractions such as Universal Studios, which was very easy to drive to. The parking spot was so nice to have and easy to get in and out of. The place was well furnished with everything we needed for our stay and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing that I would caution to others is that there was a lot of noise from neighbors late at night. We could hear a man talking very loudly outside the bedroom, even screaming and crying at times. Thankfully my daughter was fast asleep and isn't sensitive to noises. So if you're sensitive to noises or a light sleeper, you might want to consider that. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and thought that it was a very good value. Thank you!

Excellent VRBO location and accommodations

This was a pleasure trip for Spring Break. I just needed to get away and relax. This VRBO is an excellent choice for that. Very well stocked and clean. The location is convenient to many tourist destinations and the onsite parking is a huge plus when so many chain hotels charge a fee to park. I will definitely use this VRBO again and will highly recommend it to others I know looking to vacation in the LA area.
