About this property
Suwannee Riverfront Retreat
Wake up to a beautiful sunrise. Sip your coffee from the balcony overlooking the river or walk out to your private dock to check your fishing line. Sit for a while and watch the beautiful Suwannee River go by. You might even see a sturgeon jump. Bring your boat (or rent one from local business), spend the day fishing, swimming in the nearby clear water springs and exploring the Lower Suwannee Wildlife Refuge. You can also head out to the Gulf of America. Clean your catch, cook it up and end the day admiring the changing colors of the twilight sky as it reflects on the water.

We had a great weekend staying in this beautiful house on the Suwannee River. Everything was great. We had our boat docked at the house all weekend, and had an amazing weekend of fishing, swimming in the springs, and exploring the river. 10/10, highly recommend this property.

These type of comments are our favorite. So happy to see you had a great weekend. There is nothing like waking up to find your boat waiting for you at the dock. Have a wonderful summer
We rented the boat, went to all of the springs, we had amazing experiences, and this home was perfectly peaceful. I would definitely love to stay here again.
What an awesome cozy, clean house that sits right on the Suwanee River we were able to paddleboard fish swim right off the dock in an excellent location. Lots of memories. And a great location to where we were able to hit a great deal of springs in the area.
The cabin provides a much more relaxed and home like environment than a hotel. It’s almost like being at home on a vacation but somewhere else! The cabin is stocked with more than you will ever need to have . Communication with
Karen was very good. Thank you Karen for sharing your cabin with us.

Thank you for taking the time write this review. It was a pleasure to have a guests.
We had a wonderful stay at this adorable river house. It was supplied with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch or deck and watching the boats on the river. Karen, the host, checked on us and replied quickly when we had a question. I have referred friends and family and we hope to stay there again in the future. I highly recommend this place.
We enjoyed our stay on the river while visiting with family in the area. The river was just how I remembered from many years past. I look forward to our next trip. The only complaint was the traffic noise at night which may not be an issue for others. The morning coffee on the porch more than compensated for the traffic noise.

Thank you for the kind review. We are glad you enjoyed the river. Our favorite place for morning coffee is also on the back porch, especially when the sun rises over the river in the summer. The cottage is located adjacent to a highway so the traffic can get noisy. It usually settles down at night, and on weekends and holidays, as the larger trucks aren't usually running during those times. We also have white noise machines in each bedroom which can be used to enhance sleeping. Thank you again, Betsy - we look forward to your return.
The only problem we had was the furnace did not wotk

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. The problem was in the thermostat which has since been repaired. I trust the extra space heaters in the closet kept you toasty warm. Kindest regards
Since we never did this before, we weren't sure what to expect. The location was great being fairly close to the places we wanted to visit and being right on the river was a plus. The road noise was distracting but we had been told about it before hand. Over all a good experience.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Given the proximity to a Highway, the traffic can be noisy but usually settles down at night and during weekends. There are also white noise machines in each bedroom to enhance sleeping. Thanks again it was such a pleasure to have you as guests.
Where to start!
Just wow! Absolutely an amzing stay! So convenient to fanning springs, manatee springs and more.. the fishing pier was Absolutely great! We caught fish everytime we went down there. The home was very clean and provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful veiw of the river from the back windows. Tables an chairs outside on the deck and in the breakfast sunroom were a added bonus to the stay. The hostes where great at communicating an answered all questions we may of had. 5 stars all around!
