The Purple Palm Luxury Beach House with Ocean Views ands Local Art

Relax with the whole family at our sturdy & newly renovated beach home, located steps away from the beach. Our large home is situated on an expansive corner lot & features beach and bay views. Enjoy listening to the ocean waves & stunning sunsets while you sip coffee or wine from our oversized deck. Enjoy s’mores from our outdoor fire pit. Our home is not a typical Galveston AirBNB as it is our family’s vacation home and very well maintained.
The space
Walking distance to beautiful clean Terramar Beach located 20 minutes west of downtown Galveston and the Seawall. Our home has 3 furnished rooms and 2 bathrooms for guests. We offer a pack and play and high chair for babies! Beautiful deck, outdoor shower, picnic tables, and fire pit. We have free parking on our property, feel free to park your boat and use the private boat launch in our neighborhood. Neighborhood also has frisbee golf and a swimming pool with seasonal hours.

Guests will have full access to our home with exception for the garage. Guests will also have access to our community swimming pool, boat launch, fishing dock, and frisbee golf course!

The home was everything I expected. The proximity to the beach was so nice and the drive into town was not bad. The owners communicated with us during our stay and we had a wonderful time. Would stay here again!

Family Vacay July 2023

The house and location is great. We enjoyed having the community pool as an option. We had plenty of room. The lighting/fan system is confusing and we had some issues getting them programmed, so have patience. We really enjoyed the porch area. Overall we had a blast!

Relaxing stay

Great location. I have AT&T cell service and did not have good reception. Helped some signing into the house’s WiFi. Updated house- nicely decorated. Community Pool was down 3/4 days - not owner’s fault but was one of the reasons we chose that house. Enjoyed visiting with family which was main reason we were there, so I am calling it a win.

Great Location and Neighborhood

Several things went wrong but not really the hosts/owners control. Hopefully will get better property management to check on the house before guests come in the future. I would stay again as I believe the owners will address the issues.

Great Home

Overall our stay was great. The home was very clean with a great layout, a nice, large upper deck and fenced yard which helps keep younger kiddos contained. The owners were also quite responsive. The smart TV does have access to several streaming applications, however warn you that if you have younger kids who don’t understand free vs shows for purchase that you may end up with a movie charge unknowingly since there are no parental controls setup (my son apparently ordered a movie some how- one we never saw on the TV - and only found out when the owners messaged to be reimbursed for the charge). Additionally while the home was very well equipped overall, the kitchen has limited cooking supplies (no Tupperware, only 2 large mixing bowls, limited cups other than wine glasses, limited plastic plates (2 ea) for younger kids). This isn’t a huge issue but if you are big into cooking (like we are) it proves to be a bit of a challenge. Also, if you plan to cook at the house remember to bring any baggies, Saran Wrap, foil, cooking oil, spices, etc. which you may need since only salt and pepper are available at the house. Again sharing this more from a planning/packing perspective than anything else.
