Hilltop resorts is a beautiful and very scenic place to stay, very well kept. The folks that run the place go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The entire area around this resort has everything, shopping, Dining, outdoor activities, so many wild areas to explore and let your imagination run. We all loved it and will be back in 2026!
It was a very nice, cozy place. Nice porch and deck sitting place
A lot of things to do in the area, swimming, fishing, game room and sightseeing There were some small ants on the upper loft beams I just hope they get that taken care of
The place worked out well for us for a short 2-day stay. The weather worked out and we got to enjoy the deck and the fire pit. Location is good in relation to the parks, highway, shopping, and restaurants, but still had a feel of being remote.
very clean and organized and really appreciated the wood and ice delivery to our cabin. Kids enjoyed the play area and mini golf.Great stay, great time
We so enjoyed our stay at the Zonetail cabin! It was a great distance from both Hocking Hills and Downtown Logan, and was very clean and cozy. We would definitely come back again and wish we could've stayed longer!
So many great things about this place. Not only was the cabin perfect for our family, but the amenities of the campground were amazing. So many things to do.
Great location and area. Nice, comfy, clean, cozy cabins close to attractions. All the necessary kitchen tools, A/C, etc. Ours had a loft where 3-4 kids can "camp out" and avoid parents. We'll be back!
This cabin worked perfect for our family of 5. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. Had all the amenities that we needed, including a box fan in the loft. The deck space was very spacious for our nightly campfire and eating. The campground was clean and had many options of things to do for our family and kids. Our kids especially loved the jumping pillow and basketball hoop! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to hike the trails!
We LOVED our time at Hilltop Resorts. The kids really enjoyed the jumping pillow! We liked mini golf and the playground as well. The cabin was great for us and 3 kids. Bunks and sleeping mats are smaller than a twin, but fine for them. It was clean, but there was dog hair and dust left around the edges of the floor. Location was super because it's close to Logan and within 20 minutes of Hocking Hill sites. I would recommend and stay again!

Great place to stay
Overall stay was nice & very enjoyable! Location of cabins were a little closer together than what we expected & the price per bundle of wood was a bit high for the amount you got. Layout of the cabin was really cool.! It was very peaceful & everything is fairly close to the resort as well. Cleanliness wise everything was great outside inside the surfaces were nice & clean however I would suggest moving appliances more often. Overall had a really good stay! Thank you for having us. We will definitely consider staying again.
My family and I wanted to plan a quick weekend trip. Hocking Hills was a wonderful choice. 126 Zonetail was a great pick! While it was small, it did not feel that way once inside. It was very cozy and comfortable.
The cabin was well maintained and clean. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and ample sleeping areas. Our cabin was the only one with a large deck/seating area! Great plus!!
The manager and assistant manager were very helpful (issue with CO2 monitor upon arrival -faulty device) and accommodating.
I reached out to the owner a week before our arrival, and she was very responsive and answered all of my questions and concerns.
While it rained the majority of the time we were there, we were able to make the trails, Cedar Falls, petting zoo, and cookout. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
Thank you!
The cabin is in the best location for easy access to the park and town. The cabin was well stocked, and the kids really enjoyed the jumping pillow, mini golf, and Gaga pit. The only issue was that the heating system is extremely loud in the bedroom. I thought a generator was running outside, but there is no noise outside, it is coming from the walls of the cabin. Bring your earplugs for bed.
Amazing campground and amenities for kids. The cabin was great, cozy and extremely clean. The management was nice enough to provide extra pillows and blankets upon request. Will definitely come back!
Eric, the Assistant Mngr was extremely helpful in all aspects. The kitchen was well stocked. The ac worked well. It was very clean and the kayaking on the lake was amazing!
As always, smooth process of checking in/out. Stayed here multiple times, one of the best places, especially if you have kids! The new add on decks with fire pits are a great feature.Always a good time in Hocking Hills!
This was a good stay for.us. the issues we had were with insects, but to be expected surrounded by nature. The office staff was made aware and took care of the issues. Otherwise very quaint cabin accomodating plenty in our group.
