Lovely updated older home. Excellent kitchens (yes - two!!), comfortable bedrooms, nice bathrooms - one with charming claw foot tub/shower. Very comfortable couch, sitting from and dining area for six. Marvelous screened in porch with ceiling fan. On a dead end street perfect for walking dogs. Close to Damariscotta. Responsive host. Clean charcoal Weber grill. Dishwasher, free laundry machines.
Terrible House for Price. Host lacks Compassion and Integrity. House not what it says. floor inside is rotting and uneven. No AC but you can open windows except on a busy street so too noisy. Patio also rotting wood and furniture falling apart. There was a BAT inside the house. WE DID NOT STAY!! Messaged host to let them know that my mother has a walker and the floor was not working well for her due to it being uneven, non level and rotting. No bedroom downstairs and bath is not usable since mom cannot lift legs that high (claw foot bath). forced to find last min hotel. asked for any type of refund. Was Told NO since they couldnt resell and were out money. Again no compassion for an elderly lady with a walker. I would never rent from them again! BEWARE
Wow, this property was gorgeous old Maine through and through. Tastefully and simply decorated with views and woodland all around. Next time I'd get kayaks delivered to get out on the river. An easy drive to get where ever you want: Wiscasset or Damariscotta or further. Very well stocked kitchen. Knives are plentiful and sharp enough.
