Beautifully updated home, kitchen is stocked for all cooking needs. The view across the living room and kitchen is beautiful. We rented for skiing but also were able to fly fish out the back door and walk to the hot springs. Will definitely be back!
Great location and home, the layout and interior finishes were top notch and perfect for our family. We visit multiple times a year and hope to stay here again.
This cabin was absolutely awesome. It was spotlessly clean. Probably the best we have stayed in on all of our travels. Three comfortable bedrooms with two

Thank you Roberta for the glowing review and for being great guests! Come back and visit again.
This was our second time staying here. We initially were one of the first few groups to stay I think. Equally as great this time as it was the first time. The location is so great to be able to go bike/scooter the town, hike/disc golf at reservoir hill park, and fish/tube the San Juan. Thanks for having us again. Great property in a truly spectacular location
This was our favorite rental we’ve stayed in to date! It was very clean, updated, and in a wonderful location within town.
Specific things I loved about the home:
✅ very comfortable memory foam beds
✅ Good water pressure in the shower
✅ Updated appliances
✅ central heat worked very well
✅ Lots of windows in the kitchen/dining room that provided a ton of natural light
David was a great communicator and available as needed. We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful home!
We could walk to any location in the center of Pagosa Springs.
Very updated interior, and a legitimate Espresso machine!!! Saved us at least $100. Comfy beds and super strong showers were ideal after all day ski. Walk to the hippie dip! Big gas grill to cook! Book it if it’s available
This was our 2nd time to stay in this awesome Riverside Cabin and it was just as amazing the 2nd time around and we are already looking at dates for a return trip!! It is exactly as pictured, well stocked, comfortable, close to restaurants and just overall an awesome home in Pagosa Springs. David is easy to work with and communication is always quick & spot on! Thank you for sharing your families home with us....again!!
Great location on the river within walking distance to downtown. House had everything we needed. Very clean. Personally, I would have preferred another couch or loveseat in place of the decorative chairs in the living room. The beds were extremely comfortable and the heater worked great. The kids loved sliding down the hill in the front of the house. Host was very responsive. We will definitely be staying here again.
I almost hate to write the glowing review this home deserves as I want to be able to rent it again without any problems! This home was everything you see in the pictures - EXACTLY! It was bright and inviting, the kitchen was extremely well stocked, the check-in process was seamless and the communication was instantaneous with welcomed suggestions. We were 2 couples in Pagosa Springs to ski and we enjoyed the quietness of being at the end of the road, but yet being in town and only a mere 3-5 minutes from our favorite restaurants. The tranquility of hearing the river below and the snow falling was wonderful for these "city people"!! We will 100% be back whether its to ski or to enjoy the wonderful CO mountains in the warmer weather.
My wife and I had an amazing time at David’s cabin in Pagosa! The pictures don’t do this rental justice! It was a breeze to check in. David accommodated an early check in. This rental is one of the best my wife and I have stayed in. It’s walking distance to the springs resort/ healing waters, and many nearby restaurants. Book the cabin already, you won’t be disappointed!
Photos are great but was better in person. Super walkable location. Stylish and comfortable home. Riverside sounds and views make this property a great choice in Pagosa!
We really enjoyed this house with our two young kids, and can’t beat the river access. We saw tons of wildlife from the deck and my 1 year old loved waving as tubers floated by on the river. We hope to return again next summer!
We had a really great time and the location is awesome. We put our tubes in the river in the backyard and headed down the river towards town. We barely used our car once we were there since the place is so close to town. Really nice finishes and the place was perfect for our family of 5. Thanks for having us!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The interior has been remodeled extensively and the décor is very tasteful (no cheesy mountain house kitsch here). The kitchen looks right down on the river and the house is walking distance to downtown Pagosa. The owner was friendly and proactive. Looking forward staying here again and seeing how they spruce up the exterior once warmer weather arrives.

About the host

Hi! My wife and I are Pagosa Springs High School sweethearts and currently live in Boulder with our 3 young kids. We make it back to Pagosa as often as we can to visit family & friends and reconnect with the mountains. We love everything that Pagosa has to offer - snowboarding/skiing, fishing, rafting, hiking, biking, golfing, and relaxing/soaking in the springs. We recently renovated this home with the vision of creating a space that feels modern & cozy (yet spacious!) and will foster lifelong memories for our family, friends, and guests.
Why they chose this property
We truly believe this is the best location in town. Perfect for walking to the hot springs, Reservoir Hill, restaurants/bars, there simply isn't better access to the river for all water recreation and/or leisure. A short walk connects you to the riverwalk - a paved path for long walks, jogs or family bike rides. Sledding hills and a kid's park are within walking distance. Wolf Creek is 25 minutes away.
