What a sweet, well organized cabin! We spent most of our time on the lake (the pass made it so easy to go in and out of the park without worries about weather) but were really comfortable at the cabin between trips. Super-responsive host and easy check in and check out.
The cabin was clean and the host was really nice through messages. The loft was comfortable and had a little fan that I really appreciated. There were plenty of outlets but could use a few more hooks to hang things. This is a tiny cabin but was perfect for our stay since we just needed a place to sleep and eat breakfast and supper. Parking is tricky but we were able to park two cars. The kitchenette was fine but the microwave is up high but reachable. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you
Easy access , clean , no complaints. Definitely more for a younger couple as i couldnt see anyone older climbing up to the bed in a tight space , but it was perfect for my boyfriend and I a little weekend get away.
So, happy with our stay. We felt safe and comfortable and it was an overall great experience. While there we visited, lake Jocassee and lake Keowee, both equally beautiful lakes to relax and enjoy. This cabin was close to both. Highly recommended for anyone not scared to sleep in a loft.
The place was exactly as advertised. It is small but the two of us had a great time and the place is very convenient to several state parks. Parking is a little slim but everything was good overall. The best feature in my opinion was the covered porch. Most of our time was spent there and grilling out.
This place worked ok for us, anyone with serious overweight issues or physical limitations should not stay there. You got what you paid for and the location is very good.

It is just what you need, air conditioned and close to park as well as pick up for pontoon boat rental. The location is interesting...seems to be nestled in with about five other campsites, some of which could be permanent residences? Saw proof that at least two of the properties were lived in (lights on, could hear TV, cars moving) but did not see anyone our entire stay. The listing did mention a little pond near by but could not see if from the actual cabin. It's nothing fancy, but it did the trick for the two nights we were there. The kitchenette was nice, the bathroom was in really great condition, the loft was a little difficult to get comfortable, but otherwise it was good.
We enjoyed the stay. The cabin was clean and orderly. Working with the owner was super easy!
The lot description was a little off. The area is a little run down and the pond on the property was dried out.

Liked the privacy and seclusion from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Didn't like that I had to leave.
It was perfect, except the rain but can't help the rain. There wasn't a complimentary wine like last time but we had our own.

The Lakes Cozy Cabin was exactly what we were hoping it would be! We wanted a quiet weekend away and that is exactly what we got. We spent time at both Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee. We ate at the local restaurants that were recommended to us. The owner left us a little treat bag with chocolates and cookies when we arrived. Everything was very clean. The sheets not only were clean, but they smelled clean, which was nice. All around great experience and wonderful weekend away.

Budget stay
Other than lady bugs getting in literally everywhere (including in bed with you under the sheets, shower, windows, etc) it’s a nice little cabin. Parking was much smaller than described. Location isn’t the most appealing as far as surroundings; it’s kind of just in a trailer park that looks like it’s seen better days. Cabin isn’t really insulated at all and the hvac setup really only works for the general area it’s in.
Listing was quite misleading. Cabin is located in a trashy RV park next to RVs on blocks covered in tarps. When I arrived, I reached out to the host immediately who insisted this was indicated in the description and refused my refund as I wanted to find different accommodations. There were stains on the futon and it was very uncomfortable. There is no waterfall on site as indicated in the listing photos, and the “private fishing pond” was a joke. It was completely overgrown with trash strewn through the woods. There was also a torn up bag of garbage directly in the middle of where the path would be down to the pond behind our cabin. Parking was quite difficult as space is very limited, and our truck was a little difficult to manage, turning around when the neighbors were parked there as well. Overall would not recommend.

Hi, Thanks for your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations.
Our listing clearly states that this cabin is located in Under The Oaks Campground. While we understand not every environment is for everyone, we do our best to describe the setting honestly and transparently.
As for the waterfall, the “waterfall” that is listed in our description doesn’t say it’s on site that is something that we include that’s in the area for our guests to see.
Regarding cleanliness and the condition of the furniture, we strive to keep everything in top shape and would have been happy to address any concerns if given the opportunity during your stay. Our team has not received complaints like this in the past, but we take all concerns seriously and will look into the issues you mentioned.
We understand parking can be a bit tight depending on vehicle size and campground occupancy, and we appreciate your feedback on that.
While we regret that our place wasn’t the right fit for you, we do hope you’re able to find accommodations in the future that better match your preferences.
Overall a nice little cabin. Wife and I stayed for a week (6/20/22-6/27/22) while exploring the different local lakes on Jet skis. We will both be 40y.o. this year. Ac worked great. Hot water never stopped flowing. Exactly what you’d expect for a tiny cabin…great to sleep in not to hang out in. We would rent again. Some changes/improvements I would like to see…. (1) more places to hang linens/clothes. In the ‘kitchen’, bath and porch area. There is nowhere to hang wet swim clothes, dish rag or more than 2 bath towels. That would certainly help people who come to visit the lakes. (2) RAISE THE CEILING FAN! Almost impossible to climb up to bed without getting whacked by the ceiling fan. You need ceiling fan running to keep upstairs area cool. Very easy fix - they just need to install a shorter downrod. (3) Ladder hand rail goes almost all the way to the ground….no need for that. Make it start at second step so you can’t kick it while walking around living area. Wife and I both kicked it several times during our stay. It hurt…..real bad.

Thanks for your feed back. We are new to this and out rentals are new so any advice is appreciated.
Thanks , Mary @ Between the lakes Rentals.
Very Quint little escape. Relaxing sounds from frogs in back pond, neat little cabin to spend a few nights. Was diving in Jocassee and it’s an under a 5minute drive to the lake so great place to come back to and unwind.
