Our apartment is located on West 82nd Street between Columbus and Central Park West, one block from the Museum of Natural History, a one minute walk to Central Park and one block from the subway (A/B/C/D and 1/2/3 lines). The apartment was renovated a year ago. The apartment is all private - you get the entire apartment. There is a Queen sized bed, nightstand, alarm clock, dresser in the bedroom. In the living room, there is a couch that folds down into a very comfortable queen-sized bed, end tables, writing desk, a large closet, and a 4 person table. There is a full bathroom with tub, and a fully equipped kitchen with full size oven and refrigerator. There are plates, cups, cutlery, basic cooking equipment, and basic food supplies. The apartment has digital cable TV, surround sound stereo, a DVD player, Wireless high-speed internet, air conditioning, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, ironing board & iron, and a hair dryer. Best of all, there is a private landscaped garden with 6 person table, umbrella and two lounge chairs. The apartment is NO SMOKING. Bedding (350 thread count sheets), linens and towels are provided. The apartment is in the rear of the building, so there is NO STREET NOISE. Easy access to Columbia University, Lincoln Center, Museum of Natural History, Broadway Theaters, Midtown and Downtown.
The building has active recorded video-only cameras on the common entry floor (three) & building front (one); they cannot see into any apartments and are outside the property. They are not monitored, and video is stored for approximately 30 days.
The apartment may have an active decibel and device monitor (Minut) on the kitchen ceiling. It monitors smoke & c/o alarms, temperature and humidity; it cannot record video or sound. The function to monitor the number of nearby devices or motion is disabled.
