Very pleasant stay for the entire family in a quiet mountain area. The host are very thoughtful and respond quickly. Definitely will recommend it to others and book again.
Our whole family came for a quick spring break and we could not have been more pleased. The cabin is exactly as advertised and then some. Tons of little details to make our trip more unique. The kids loved it and were sad to leave!
This cabin in the woods was very clean and cozy. It was refreshing and really felt like home. We loved our stay in this cabin that reminded us of a Hallmark movie. Loved it and recommend “The Cozy Cabin.”

Thanks for letting us host you, Abby! We're so glad you had a good time and hope you can stay with us again some time.
We loved it! It was close enough to town but still off the beaten path and very peaceful. The home is gorgeous! It was very clean! The WiFi worked well! The Host is easy to communicate with and was very kind! We are already thinking about our next trip!
We really enjoyed our stay. Mike is a wonderful host and was always quick to respond. The cabin was comfy with everything we needed and more. Beds were comfy and the linens were soft. The internet was spotty but we knew that going in and when we had no TV to stream there were plenty of DVD's on hand. The deck is nice with comfortable seating and a fire pit table but not accessible through the inside of the house. We did not see anything about that in the listing.

Thanks for staying with us, Tami! We're so glad you had a good time. Thankfully, we have been able to get on Starlink internet service since your stay, so our connectivity has improved!
The owner's went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We were greeted with a dozen, delicious local donuts, a mug full of local goodies, and fresh flowers. All of the beds had plush bedding and were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything and everything you might need (bathrooms stocked as well). Check- in and all communication was seamless and the owners were very good about keeping us up to date on any changes. The board games, foosball, and dvds were a huge hit with all of us. Tubing is 5 minutes down the road. Perfect getaway before school starts!

Beautiful place, no tv, no internet, quiet and peaceful
I have arthritis and it is difficult to walk. I was looking for a place that we could get around in. (My brother and special needs daughter also have issues.) The house is well appointed, a boho feel, everything we needed to have a good stay, and visit with family. We are descendants of the Stanley's. It would be a great place for a girls weekend! But don't plan on getting any work done here. There is no tv or internet. We didn't have phone reception either, so very quiet. We cooked and had everything thing we needed. I would consider staying again, but I think my daughter would veto.
The cabin was so pretty! The bear decor was just perfect for the cabin. The outdoor lights and seating were great and we wished it hadn’t rained so much so we could enjoy them more.
The hosts provided so many little extras that were a nice touch. They had toothpaste and toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, soap and makeup remover wipes. They also provided coffee, tea, hot chocolate and creamer. There were so many dvd’s to watch, books to read and even games to play. They also had charging cords and wireless chargers for guests to use.
I will say the internet was worse than slow. I had 2 adults who could not use it at the same time. If you go expecting no wifi then you will be pleasantly surprised when it works and not disappointed when it doesn’t. We actually got cell service down at Stanley rapids just down the road but it made it hard to find things to do with no cell service or wifi.
The driveway was a little scary for this Florida girl and thankfully no one tried to drive that last road the same time as we did in the opposite direction.
The area was great as we were close to Blue Ridge and not too far from Ellijay either.
The hosts were very quick to respond and turned off the door chime when we asked. They were very friendly.
Overall this was a great vacation and I would totally recommend it to friends and family.
This property is absolutely beautiful! It’s tucked away in the mountains with a short distance to the river. They hosts were very helpful and accommodating!
Thank you for the beautiful place to stay! We will be back!

About the host
Hosted by Mike Savory
We live in Loganville, Georgia with our three kids. We love family road trips and exploring new places. The Blue Ridge area is one of our favorites, with so much to do and also a great place to relax, and we love to share it with our guests.
Why they chose this property
After a day of sightseeing, mountain biking, river tubing, shopping, or dining, gather on the deck for grilling and quiet relaxation. Then kick back in the lounge chairs by the fire pit for s'mores and stargazing. Or maybe you'd prefer reclining indoors to enjoy a movie.
• Dining table for six • Deck and gas grill • Washer & dryer • Coffee & tea service, fully equipped kitchen • Foosball table • Smart TVs with DVD/Blu-ray players • Movie library • Wifi • Fire pit • Pack-and-play in a large walk-in closet that makes a perfect, quiet baby room • Plenty of parking • Paved roads all the way to the cabin
