Cute home, needs portable AC upstairs for summer use

Cute, clean & quaint home. Easy beach access and quick view of Mt Rainier. Quiet street, safe neighborhood. Portable AC unit available downstairs which cools main floor and one bedroom. The home is not equipped with one upstairs, which is needed for a summer rental. Upstairs are very steep and narrow, so would not be good for someone with mobility issues.

Great home on FI

Enjoyed this simple, sweet old orchard home. Great view from the living room of the Fox Island bridge. Kitchen was well stocked (we cooked all meals here). Bathroom had plenty of clean towels. Location was perfect for walking across the bridge or to the end of the road to visit the beach. Would stay again. My only frustration was with Vacasa, didn’t like the plethora of emails. Just stick to straight VRBO if that’s where the listing is booked through.

Cute little cabin, lots of thoughtful touches like wood for the stove, board games, coffee, laundry detergent. Good water pressure and hot water. The huge turnoff was the heavy dog odor/dog hair everywhere and unclean bedding. We collapsed into bed on the first night exhausted from our trip, only to find the next day that the sheets and blanket we slept in was filthy -- covered in dog hair and dirty smears. It was disgusting. This could be a nice place if the owner ripped out the smelly carpet and did a better job keeping it clean.

Peaceful

Charming cottage with a beautiful view from every window. Loved waking up to a group of Canadian geese and a momma deer with her fawn would come by in the afternoon. We packed in our groceries and seasonings, however the kitchen had a plethora of seasonings, coffee cocoa and fixings for pancakes! Beds were comfy, but small. Grandpa is a large fellow with mobility disability, so grandma had to climb the steep steps to the loft. If you have allergies or nose is sensitive to musky scents of an aged home, 5 nights is too long. All in all it was a great stay

Lovely staycation with grown kids

Bella Bella Beach cottage was a perfect spot to get away with our grown kids and mature dogs for a quick getaway. The cottage is just right for four adults who want to relax, enjoy the scenery, do some puzzles and just spend time together. A beautiful buck welcomed us from afar on the hill behind the cottage. The DeMolay sand spit is a short walk away and the neighborhood is quiet with pretty views, both day and night. We had dinner at Zog’s, about 1 1/2 miles down the road, and everyone on the island was very friendly. The cottage has everything you need and was very clean and inviting.

Bella Bella Cottage

Actually felt like a getaway, even though we were close to home. BBBC has everything we needed for our family and the dogs. Nice walk to beach and to the boat launch by the bridge. Donna is a great host and very thoughtful.
