Great location, not clean enough for check in time
The house has a great location but after being told I couldn’t check in until 4 pm to ensure that the house would be clean, it was not as clean as i would expect.
Vacasa has on their website than you can request an earlier check in time. I left multiple messages that my party would be flying in early from other states, only to be told I wouldn’t know until DAY OF and check in could range from 12-3.
On the day of, I was told I wouldn’t be granted earlier check in time.
After stressing and having to freshen up in random public bathrooms, I went to the house at 3 just to see if someone was there cleaning but there was nobody and the code worked to get in. Didn’t receive a phone call or email update it was ready.
It’s unprofessional that I was probably short changed on the cleaning AND told I couldn’t check in before 4 when in it was ready probably much sooner.
The downstairs bedroom curtains had deep rooted stains and a fake plant that has so much dust it looked white.
The mattress cover in the upstairs bedroom and the cushion seats next to the couch had terrible stains as well.
There were scuff marks on the walls.
What’s the point of late check in times if nothing gets throughly cleaned anyways?
