ACCESS: There are 5 steps to get into the home. Unfortunately, the home is not handicap accessible. The path to the lake is steep, but many of the homes on the lake have steep paths.
LIVING ROOM: This cozy room is perfect to movies at the end of the night or for mid-day naps if you're trying to escape the heat. There's 65" Smart TV with color LED backlighting and Bluetooth speaker to stream music are available.
KITCHEN: We have included just about everything we think you'd need. Ninja Coffee Maker, Ninja Blender, Air Fryer, toaster oven, microwave, stove/oven, ice maker (we usually bring or buy a bag on day two), well stocked cooking utensils, pots/pans. If you need something we don't have, we will try to stock it before arrival or ship it during your stay, within reason.
BEDROOMS: The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of dresser and closet space. The 2 King and 1 Queen bedroom do not disappoint with their well appointed linens (Costco's Kirkland 670 thread count) and mattresses, for a good night's rest. Each room has a ceiling fan. Although you'll be spending minimal time in the bedrooms with the numerous activities available, you'll still have the space to spread out or to escape other guests if needed.

PORCH/DOCK/GRILL/LAKESIDE YARD: Our covered porch was the reason we purchased this home and it does not disappoint. This outdoor living space affords you the option to lounge with a cup of coffee in the morning or to share dinner as a group while watching the water. It can be hot in the summer months, which we hope the 2 fans help to keep guests comfortable. The uncovered deck is great for Grilling on the Weber Genesis II Grill, relaxing on the rocking bench, or letting the kids do arts and crafts or eating on the picnic table. The dock is huge, and is great for relaxing, reading a book, or fishing. Propane is provided for the grill. Fire Pit with 6 Adirondack chairs provided. Firewood is not included.
The house was updated in 2025 to include removal of Popcorn ceilings, new light fixtures, all new paint, and a propane on-demand water heater The HVAC is new as of 2023 with a variable speed motor. We have clean drinking water supplied from Six Mile Water and filtered on the refrigerator.
We are mindful of our water use and what we dispose of down the drains as we are on a septic system.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please send the host photos of the life vests and water toys returned to their original locations. If life vests are wet, it's OK to leave on the deck by the grill to dry, our cleaner will hang them.
If beach towels were used, it's very helpful to start a load, and even better if they're thrown in the dryer. They take forever to dry! If not, no worries, we will get to it.
Please clean out firepit ashes and cover before leaving (If safe to do so). We like to keep our Tiki FirePit in good condition for our family's use.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Strict no parties policy.
Strict no animals policy. The hosts/owners have severe allergies to animals with accomanying medical issues.

The house has a lovely view of the lake, but unfortunately it was too cold for us to enjoy the lake itself. The beds were super comfortable, the linens/towels were plentiful, the kitchen was well equipped as we cooked dinner meals there, and the place was very clean. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and were wonderful to deal with. We hope we can stay there again in the future.
We had a great family trip to this lake home! The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean and the kayaks, paddle boards were great!! We fished and caught/released some catfish and a bass! Fun time hanging on screened back porch and grilling out!
We really enjoyed this property! The house was very clean and convenient to boat access. Comfortable beds. Property manager is responsive. Would stay here again!
Ryan's home was perfect for our extended weekend stay. The bedrooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. I am quite particular about cleanliness and was 100% satisfied with this home. From the bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen to the outdoor screen porch and furniture. Everything was clean and comfy. So many comfortable qualities made us feel right at home.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
We found this place last minute and was blown away at how great it was. Within 10 minutes of arriving I caught a fish off the dock and my kids were enjoying a little paddle boarding! The house has everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. It was easy to relax and enjoy the lake without worry about anything. The beds were comfortable, the porch was relaxing, and the cove was quiet. Two king beds made it perfect for two families as the adults had great sleeping arrangements. We had 4 kids 8-11 y/o and they had plenty to do. We also rented a large pontoon from Sunset Marina (two coves away) and the boat fits great in the dock. I’ll def rent again and tell my friends about it.
This is a very nice property to stay for peace/quiet and to relax. It was nearly perfect… We were able to visit with family on the patio and enjoy some water activities on the dock/lake. The only negative was that we had no Internet at all. The WiFi connected but no connection to the Internet. No computer, no cell phone, no TV for the entire stay. There was very limited cell service here as well (Verizon & AT&T) and the T-Mobile Internet supplied by the property did not work at all. Not an issue for some, but we were unable to complete work items and had to make arrangements to go elsewhere to do this. The hosts communicated throughout, but had no control over the lack of Internet connection.

Thank you for your review Jonathan. 3 days after your check out we did have fiber installed in the neighborhood and we were able to have fiber brought into the home. We are terribly sorry for the issue you had during your stay. We did end up having an issue with the TMobile router during your stay. Duke power had a scheduled power outage just before check in and the router would not connect after repowering. TMobile was also not able to gain access. We did call and text to see if you'd be able to reset the device again during your stay, but unfortunately our timing did not align. We are very sorry for your experience during your stay, but reassure you and future guests that Internet connections will not be an issue with the newly installed fiber with UpCountry Fiber.
First, my wife and I are very familiar with Lake Keowee and have owned a home up here & have also rented many lake K properties since the late 90s. This was a short trip for us in Sept. IMO, the months of September and October are the best time to visit this late. The crowds are gone but the water is still warm. Andrea and Ryan are excellent hosts. They gave prompt and through communications. The property is very clean and modern. It looks like the interior has recently been updated. The screen porch is a great place for meals and to relax. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment, gadgets, utensils, and dinnerware. Much better than many rentals on this lake. The property is at the very end of a cove and the road is twisty and narrow, there is room to park a boat trailer and getting the empty trailer in here was fine for my 19' bowrider, just take your time.Being at the end of the cove, the water is rather shallow at the dock. the lake was down about 2' below full pool when we were there and there was about 4' of water at the dock. Plenty for a boat to dock or splashing around. I would not dive. The dock was nearly new and in great shape. In fact, all the water toys, games etc. were in very good shape and conveniently stored. It is moderately steep to the lake, but the concrete sidewalk down to the lake is much better than most of the lake's access walkways. The location of this cove is near Warpath access point,We had a very nice stay and recommend this property.
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home!! We enjoyed paddle boarding! The house was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay!

Amy left no comments, but privately messages feedback to us that we feel should be made public to others on how her review was scored. She noted the path to the lake was steep, and that elderly family members could not navigate the incline. Our property clearly states that the home is not handicap accessible and the path to the lake is moderately steep. She noted the home has a cooperate feel. The home matches the pictures exactly. We keep our properties clutter free and simple, but inviting, comfortable, and inclusive of amenities. She noted the grounds were unkept. As the photos demonstrate, the home is surrounded by trees. Aerial photos replicate what you will find on arrival. There are plans to redo the landscaping and increase the driveway size in Spring 2026. She noted the cove was shallow, some areas 1'-2' deep. Our cove is shallow, just passed the dock, the cove quickly goes shallow. Our dock is in 3'-6' of water. The water moving out to the main body of Keowee is 4'-6' keep. We have had no problems with wake boats, center consoles, and tritoons parking at our dock. Our family and may other guests have had no issues lounging in the water during the summer months. We are very disappointed on the rating we received when our pictures and property description match what you will find when physically at the property. We also keep our property very competitively priced for a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom on Lake Keowee as we can't compete with the $1-2 million homes.
About the host
Hosted by Andrea
I'm originally from Michigan. My husband and I started Airbnb'ing on Lake Greenwood over 4 years ago, and want to be able to share the same a great experiences that we have had on Greenwood both with ourselves and with guests as we have ventured out to Lake Keowee.
Why they chose this property
We love that the home is on a quiet cove where we can kayak and paddle board without being splashed around by boat wakes. It's also deep enough to have our own private dock to drive our boat right up to our property. We also like the fact that we don't have to share our boat dock or slip with anyone else.
What makes this property unique
We are far from the nicest house on a lake, but that affords us the ability of being affordable. We pride ourselves on having a clean, well kept house. We do have big bedrooms that give us space to spread out from family. The Living Spaces give us the ability to watch movies, play cards, or break bread with one another at several dedicated spaces throughout the home.
