Clean and comfortable place in a good location near a bunch of stuff. We were there for only one night for a medical thing, but it suited our needs perfectly.

Great property! Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved having the mini toiletries available just in case we forgot to bring something.

First of all, when we arrived , there was the smell of Mary Jane because the next door neighbor was smoking in his car…. the ENTIRE time we were there.Second, the house was run down. There were electrical sockets that were exposed, they were coming out of the wall in the first bedroom. There were only 4 coffee mugs and very limited dishware. There is no way 6 people would have enough dishware. There was literal broken glass in the front yard. The king bed was entirely too high off the floor.. It needs a thinner box spring which is easy to get. The sheets and linens were very poor quality as wells Also the breakfast table was warped and looked like it had sat in the rain. Overall the stay was very disappointing for the price we paid.

Dear Amy,
Thank you for providing us with your feedback and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused!
We didn’t know you felt that way and we are saddened to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and our cleaning and maintenance team has already been informed about your complaints and will take action accordingly.
With respect to the smell of marijuana from the next door neighbor, we will report the incident to the local authorities.
Rest assured, the guesthouse has been kept in good condition for years due to our regular maintenance schedule.
As for the supplies, we are ordering more coffee mugs, dishware, sheets and towels and expect them to be delivered sometime in a very near future.
In summary, we are addressing your concerns and do hope for the opportunity to welcome you back again for an improved experience.

The home was perfect for our short stay. Comfortable beds, very clean. The travel size toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans. If I had one request it would be some pans for a the oven and extra towels. Over all a very good experience and I would rent again.

Your feedback is very much appreciated. You are more than welcome anytime to stay at either La Palma Guesthouse or Milano Guesthouse anytime with your family or friends.
This property was sufficient for a quick overnight to Lubbock. The rental cost was significantly less than paying for two hotel rooms during a busy graduation weekend.
This was a great little house for our needs this weekend. The beds were comfortable in all 3 bedrooms and both bathrooms were in great shape. Was definitely a better bargain than area hotels as we were able to have a small family gathering after graduation. This is a perfect house for a weekend stay in Lubbock
This home was very clean and had all updated amenities... You can tell the owners spent extra time and effort to make their home comfortable for guests

Your feedback is very much appreciated! Thank you for being such a great guest.
This was a great stay. My wife and I just did a little get away for a few days and this was a clean cozy place to relax. The owner was kind and we had no issues. I would also say that one of the best parts is that I didn't feel like I got swindled. Some of the owners on here will charge an obscene cleaning fee and still want you to do the laundry, the dishes, the trash, etc. This owner was fantastic and the checkout requirements were very reasonable. We will book again if the opportunity presents itself.

Home was clean and neat and very comfortable, one concern though, the front entry storm door, I believe it could be adjusted so it doesn’t close so hard. I would hate to see someone be injured by the hard closing of the door.
Thank you for your hospitality!
We were relocated to a different property much further tour of town several weeks before the stay but it all worked out. The only suggestion I’d have for management is to check the supplies kitchen items for completeness. There was one extra small trash bag for a three night stay, one coffee mug and a set of four plates for six people. We purchased paper plates and trash bags so it all worked out.

Be sure and read the extensive rules before booking!
Have never stayed at a place with such restrictive rules. Will not stay at another Lazio Homes property. Guests should be able to use as much hot water as they need to. The gate to the backyard garbage area was filled with trash. And, our fault for not realizing laundry was not available for use unless you are staying a week. Crazy!

Dear Michael,
We are saddened to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service
Just so you know, every guesthouse has rules because it is a shared space and housekeeping rules are there for a reason.
Also, a guesthouse is not a hotel with unlimited hot water. It is a home just like your own with limited hot water. There is nothing wrong about warning our guests about excessive showering, which usually drain the hot water tank especially when you have several people in the house taking shower at the same time. We want to make sure every guest in the house gets hot water.
We pride ourselves on the quality of services we provide our guests and hope to convince you to change your mind about another visit to our property.

We loved the house. It was clean and comfortable. The beds are comfy. Amenities like toothbrushes were thoughtful. I was a bit frustrated trying to get the address so we could map to the location. I would prefer to have an address when leaving for the trip and not while driving down the highway. The process for this property is to give the address an hour before check-in.Phone service was unreliable as we were driving through remote areas. About an hour left in our drive to Lubbock, I noticed that check-in process was sent, but with no address. This caused me to feel a bit of panic. Does this house even exist? What if we never get an address? Do we get a hotel?? As you can probably tell, I’m not the best with elements of uncertainty. We got the issue straightened in a timely manner. However, it added an element of stress to the trip, driving through areas with spotty phone service and no address to map to. Otherwise, the stay and communication was good.
Nice place, comfortable and a good size. Good location for what we needed to get to in the city. Owner was easily contacted. The cleanliness was a little lacking but thats easily fixed.
