Lovely location

The space is well equipped and clean. Very comfortable bed. Easy walk to town but do note it is up a hill but parking in town is easy.

Enjoyed the view

Very nice house slept with all the windows open cool breeze was great. The one-burner in the kitchenette allowed us to make an awesome beef stroganoff which amazed us. It is very unique and special we will definitely rent again when we come back.

Very unique vrbo, lighthouse style with great views from 3 sides from the upstairs bedroom/kitchen. Downstairs great for get togethers or storing your outdoor gear. Stairs might be a concern for seniors.

We had a wonderful time. The property is very well appointed and spacious and well situated for day trips along the Cabot Trail. Quiet and private. The property owner very responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Great location! Clean.

Pleasant stay. Two minor issues. The heater fan blades made a terrible noise when it started and worse when it stopped. Metal on metal. Also no drawers to store clothes. Had to live out of suitcases. Otherwise, no issues.

Too small

We visited at the wrong time, November 11 was a holiday with very little open. The 12th it poured rain. We stayed inside most of the trip and the place was too small for that. There was nowhere comfortable to sit. Garage was too cold to sit down there. It wasn’t bbq weather, just bad timing. We never met the hosts.

Beautiful views and setting!

Lovely visit, close to everything. I liked the guest book as it provided extra tips and insights from other visitors. The hosts had provided everything including wine and chocolate.

What a great find! The Blue Lighthouse at Selkie's Rest was such a special treat with easy access to the Cabot Trail and within walking distane to the town of Baddeck. Super clean and very nicely furnished. Thank you too for the lovely welcome gifts!

First Class Accomodation

In every way, this was our favourite accommodation in our 2 week tour of the beautiful province of Nova Scotia. Convenient location in quaint and central town of Baddeck. Our lodging was new, spotless and superbly decorated; our hosts were thoughtful and helpful. Well deserving of our praise!

Lovely unit and a great location

We had a wonderful time in this unique and fun unit. The hosts were very responsive and the welcome gifts were a nice gesture. The apartment was well maintained and comfortable. Very convenient location. Just a short walk from town. All in all a winner!

Cozy and comfortable only a short walk to main street Baddeck

This was a nice little two-level property. The bottom floor is a finished garage with a bathroom. It would be handy if you must park your car or motorcycles inside at night. We opened the garage door and sat outside it drinking some wine for a while one night. The upper level is small but clean and has a lot of thoughtful touches. It also has air conditioning which is nice as the weather was extremely hot and humid during our visit. We walked to Tom's Pizza for supper another night and ate on their back patio deck. The pizza was very good. The town of Baddeck is incredibly picturesque and it's only a few hundred meters walk! I even walked down to the main dock in town pre sunrise to take pictures. We had a great stay. The only thing to keep in mind is the stairs to get to the upper level. They may be difficult for an elderly person but for us it was not even an issue.
