About this property
Heart of Baddeck Village
Compass House is located in the center of Baddeck allowing you to take full advantage of the shops, restaurants and various activities going on in the village, without using your car. The lake is a few minutes walk away. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with 2x twin bed.s All have ample closet space. There is one full bathroom upstairs. Downstairs there is a comfortable living room, dining room and well equipped kitchen plus two further half baths. The sun room addition provides a birds eye view of village life and also contains a full double bed for additional guests.
There is a cute deck on the back where you can sit with a cup of coffee and watch the world go by.
Baddeck is not just the beginning and end of the Cabot Trail but also a great base for exploring other areas of the island.
*PLEASE NOTE* your nightly fee includes the new 3% Cape Breton Tourism Levy payable on all accommodation on the island from January 2024.

We had been visiting Cape Breton/ Baddeck for a number of years before we had the opportunity to purchase Compass House. We have been working hard to remodel and update it. We love the atmosphere in Baddeck. Compass House really gives you the opportunity to experience life in the village. The locals are so friendly and welcoming and you are a stones throw from everything you need.
