Cozy, clean apartment in a great location just one mile north of Grand Marais. Lovely porch overlook of Lake Superior. Would probably work best for a couple given the sleeping arrangement, but we made it work for our family of four with two young children. Note that if you do have someone sleep in the living room during chilly weather, the stove furnace is quite loud. Host was responsive and accommodating!

Wonderful stay

It was a very nice place to stay. I only have 3 nitpicking items; not enough signage on the road, the water was overly softened and didn't taste good/hard to wash off soap, and noise traveled easily from upstairs/next door at night.

Wolf's Den Stay

We are big fans of Grand Marais and have been there many times, staying at a variety of other places. We found Wolf's Den on a VRBO search. We absolutely loved it....very clean, great location, comfortable, and Tina was a great host. We would absolutely stay at this location again on a future visit.

This was a lovely spot to stay - close to Grand Marais but quiet. A gorgeous view of Lake Superior through the trees, and close to great hiking and canoeing spots. We loved the sauna, and the bed was much more comfortable than at other places we stayed (it was huge!). We’ll definitely come back here.

Awesome property

We loved our stay at the Wolf's Den! The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view of the lake was the best part...just sitting there watching and listening to the waves come in was so peaceful! We will be back!
