Family Vacation

The property was close to the beach with great views. We loved all the amenities and the the well stocked kitchen. It was clean and comfortable. Might need some upgrades soon.

OBX stay at Castle Bleu

We stayed here for a week in South Nags Head and Castle Bleu is an amazing place. The ocean view from the patio is great and it is an easy walk to the beach. It was great for my family to come and go to the beach as they please. It’s in a nice location in South Nags Head and not far from all the activities. We enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back in the future. Ken is great to communicate with and answered all our questions.

Great little getaway

Loved the house. Very clean and supplied with everything you need to enjoy a week away. Communication with owner was excellent. Wonderful view from the top balcony and easy walk to the beach.

Had a great week at castle bleu!

Castle bleu has plentybof space and is laid out well. The kitchen is exyremely well appointed. As a chef i usually am unimpressed with the available utensils, pans etc...at most rentals. Not the case with this house. I had everything i needed for all the cooking that was fone while there. Beach views were fantastic and we will be comimg back for sure!

Week at Castle Bleu

Our family had a great week at Castle Bleu. The house was nice and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space and the light, airy feeling of the upstairs living area. Great views of the ocean from the living room and upper deck! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The rooms were nice as well. The only issue we had was that one of the showers didn't drain well, but that happens frequently at beach houses. The outdoor shower was amazing, though. Easy walk to the beach access. Overall, a great place. I would definitely stay again.

Great location

All and all it was a great stay, proximity to the beach was great and there was a lot of room to hang out upstairs. The property was well maintained however I'd hire a new cleaning service. I cleaned the toilets counters and sinks when we got there. The sink had food caked in it, and the toilets had staining - they didn't seem to have been cleaned. There was also about an inch of dust on the fan in the master bedroom. We used a pillow case to get it off. The bedrooms are all on the same floor so the option of two families having separate entrances is incorrect. There is only one entrance that has a unlockable entry. It was a last minute booking and we had a great vacation, for the cost - the location was great! But description in the advertisement was incorrect and the cleanliness was lacking. It pains me to write this because communication with the host was great, he is very responsive. Don't count this property out, there is a lot family memories to be made here!

Week in Nags Head

Ken was very helpful, responsive, and friendly. He gave great information. The house has great views, the top floor is very roomy, and comfortable. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The grill was not cleaned. The griddles were caked with grease. Two outlets did not work, and the second floor deck in front had splinters and some nail heads popping out. We did have a great week overall.

Our time at Castle Bleu

There was ample bedroom space. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the back deck. The layout was great for a family. The icemaker worked like a champ!
