Permit 000324. Our beautiful, Spanish-style villa is was built in 2005 and is located in the small gated community of Puerta Azul, in South La Quinta adjacent to PGA West. It is a 15 minute bike ride to Coachella Festival. Our home has 12' ceilings and is all on one level and features three bedrooms- two with king beds , and one with a queen bed and gas fireplace. There is master and guest bathroom and all bedrooms and common area have ceiling fans .

The private gated yard features a private pool and spa, a built in gas BBQ grill, , outdoor table with 6 chairs with fan above table , love seat and four chairs with gas fire table , and three chaise lounges. It has western exposure and has views of the mountains.

The home is air conditioned and has fantastic light from the numerous west facing windows. The kitchen is modern with granite tile and stainless appliances and features an island with seating for light meals or hanging out. There are fans in all three bedrooms, family room and outside eating area above the table.

The master bathroom features dual vanities, private toilet, tub and frameless glass shower. The second bathroom has a walk in glass shower, single vanity and toilet.

There are flat screen TVs in the family room and 2 bedrooms plus private den. The family room and master bedroom televisions are the only Televisions that are connected to cable.

Our house also has a private one car garage for your use and a washer and dryer for those longer stays!

Puerta Azul is a resort like community and has two large hotel like community pools & spas (one only one house away and the other only a 4 minute walk from our house!). Puerta Azul features a fitness center, tennis & bocce ball courts, clubhouse, with a walking trail (paseo) running through the center of the resort. The resort setting features spectacular mountain views and a convenient location to the golf at PGA West (right next to Puerta Azul) and the restaurants in Old Town La Quinta.

This home is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Our host was super helpful with navigating the festival. We had so many questions which were answered with grace and speed. I had a wonderful time and would love to come back.

5 stars all around for this place, especially the host Diane, we were a bit for our check in time so we didn’t really enjoy our first day like we had plan to, but without asking Diane offered us a later check out time so we can at least enjoy the day and honestly that made our experience so much more better! On top of that any questions we had or concerns she replied within minutes which just made things so much more smooth. Her home is beautiful and very well equipped with whatever you need and the swimming pool/hottub is private with a very nice view of the mountains, all in all she made my birthday very well worth it for our stay

We enjoyed our stay very very much! The pool and hot tub were great and at a wonderful temperature. The house was very well stocked. The check in and out couldn’t have been smoother. Communication with owner and property manager was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving getaway celebrating a 40th birthday

The house was perfect for hosting my family of 5 plus a funcle. We enjoyed the accommodations, the living room was spacious and the outdoor area was superb. Only thing to consider is location as it's about a 10 minute drive to the Downtown area of La Quinta and grocery stores.

An oasis in the desert heat

Temperatures ranged between 40-46 deg C (104-115 deg F) during our stay, which was highly unusual for this time of year. This spacious, cool and comfortable house with its lovely pool and outdoor area was a pleasure to come home to.

Super Amazing

This property was overall just amazing, I hope to keep coming back again and again. The host was amazing and made everything super easy, she was a super sweet person. The pool was amazing and private. The beds were super comfy. The club house has a pool, ping pong, and another large pool you could swim at.

Large and cosy home with extraordinary pool

Big and cosy house that immediately feels like home! Fantastic owner, responds quickly and really worries about the well being of her guests. What makes the place extraordinary are the garden and pool. If we come back to Palm Springs area, we will definitely rent here again!

Great house, perfect host.

This property is located in a security complex. There is access to the complex’s facilities, but we did not use it as the house has a small pool and hot tub, perfect for getting away from the Canadian winter! We really loved the house, which was only overshadowed by the prompt and friendly response of Dianne. I will certainly recommend this place for a vacation!

When it’s -Temps at home…

My wife, son and I had a wonderful time at this property. It was exactly as listed, quite clean and the beds were outstanding (I’m 6’4”, my wife is 6’ and my son 6’4”). It’s in a very quiet area and it’s really perfect for a group attending any event in the nearby polo grounds. The hot tub and pool were perfect after a long hike in the nearby national park. Modern. Clean. Great host. A double thumbs up!

An Enjoyable Experience

This was the 1st time renting a house and it was a very pleasant experience. Towels, blankets, dishes, pot/pans, even books and magazines were available. The pool was just the right size (for the three of us) and the house was clean. The outside was quiet (we only heard the neighbors outside twice), and it was nice not to hear the sounds of planes, helicopters, loud cars racing up and down the street, etc. The only complaint we had was we would prefer the sofas had taller backs to them, but we consider that a minor issue. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

We vacationed at Puerta Azul and absolutely loved the resort feel of the property including the amazing pools, fitness center and clubhouse. The location is very private and we are only a 2 minute walk from the lap pool and 5 minutes to the clubhouse and main pool. There is also a gym, tennis court, bocce ball court.
