About this property

Permit 000324. Our beautiful, Spanish-style villa is was built in 2005 and is located in the small gated community of Puerta Azul, in South La Quinta adjacent to PGA West. Our home has 12' ceilings and is all on one level and features three bedrooms- two with king beds , and one with a queen bed and gas fireplace. There is master and guest bathroom and all bedrooms and common area have ceiling fans .

The private gated yard features a private pool and spa, a built in gas BBQ grill, , outdoor table with 6 chairs with fan above table , love seat and four chairs with gas fire table , and four chaise lounges. It has western exposure and has views of the mountains.

The home is air conditioned and has fantastic light from the numerous west facing windows. The kitchen is modern with granite tile and stainless appliances and features an island with seating for light meals or hanging out. There are fans in all three bedrooms, family room and outside eating area above the table.

The master bathroom features dual vanities, private toilet, tub and frameless glass shower. The second bathroom has a walk in glass shower, single vanity and toilet.

There are flat screen TVs in the family room and 2 bedrooms plus private den. Only the family room and master bedroom televisions are connected to cable.

Our house also has a private one car garage for your use and a washer and dryer for those longer stays!

Puerta Azul is a resort like community and has two large hotel like community pools & spas (one only one house away and the other only a 4 minute walk from our house!). Puerta Azul features a fitness center, tennis & bocce ball courts, clubhouse, with a walking trail (paseo) running through the center of the resort. The resort setting features spectacular mountain views and a convenient location to the golf at PGA West (right next to Puerta Azul) and the restaurants in Old Town La Quinta.

When it’s -Temps at home…

My wife, son and I had a wonderful time at this property. It was exactly as listed, quite clean and the beds were outstanding (I’m 6’4”, my wife is 6’ and my son 6’4”). It’s in a very quiet area and it’s really perfect for a group attending any event in the nearby polo grounds. The hot tub and pool were perfect after a long hike in the nearby national park. Modern. Clean. Great host. A double thumbs up!

Great place - as advertised!

La quinta VRBO is as advertised - specious, clean, inviting and just a great overall place. The owners were good communicators and I would 100% come back to this place! Pool and hot tub in the backyard and pool and hot tub close by for the community.

Great place

Loved the luxuries at this gated community condo. we made great use of the outdoor fire-pit and hot tub and even used the floaties on the pool. wonderful backyard oasis, quiet and loved the visits by the local hummingbirds. well stocked kitchen with numerous pots and pans and spices. spacious 3 bedrooms with comfy beds. Loved having 2 full bathrooms. about a 30 min drive to most attractions, downtown, aerial tram, outlet malls and an hour to joshua tree. 10 mins to a fab grocery store called Ralph's. you couldnt ask for a better or more responsive host than Diane

Thanksgiving getaway celebrating a 40th birthday

The house was perfect for hosting my family of 5 plus a funcle. We enjoyed the accommodations, the living room was spacious and the outdoor area was superb. Only thing to consider is location as it's about a 10 minute drive to the Downtown area of La Quinta and grocery stores.

Why they chose this property

We vacationed at Puerta Azul and absolutely loved the resort feel of the property including the amazing pools, fitness center and clubhouse. The location is very private and we are only a 2 minute walk from the lap pool and 5 minutes to the clubhouse and main pool. There is also a gym, tennis court, bocce ball court.
