Beautiful place. Owner made everything easy as far as check in and instructions. Even provided extra towels which is also a plus to me. Would stay again and would recommend.
All activities were in Ashville. the drive was short and easy. While at the house it was quiet, clean and all necessities were there. INCLUDING a coffee grinder. So with that said, even though coffee was supplied, bring your best beans!
I nice experience, but not the best we have stayed in. Main drawback was the shared Space with the upstairs. They entire stay there was a strong smell of marijuana each time we returned to the rental.
Also, the dryer was full of linens when we arrived and there was only 5 small creamers for our 10 day stay.
Having a private entrance next to the parking spots was very convenient and private. All the amenities are modern and work great, a very comfortable stay. Everything was just easy and laid back! All instructions and the guidebook in the unit were clear. I would definitely stay here again when in the area!
The property is exactly as described and photographed. It is basically someone's basement so yes you will hear their dogs upstairs but they do have quiet times so it really shouldn't bother you much. This was close enough to where I wanted to be and I would come back.
Excellent overall, with very well provisioned suite, nice bathroom, large living-entertainment area, very comfortable bed. Breakfast supplies simple but adequate, with a plus with the coffee beans and grinder.
Would definitely return for another stay.

This unit listed two queen beds. Once we arrived, I looked for the second bed. Pulled cushions out from couch, thinking it was a pull out, and was covered in popcorn, coins, crumbs. Also, to be noted, a strong smell of weed greets you when entering the unit. I contacted Brandon regarding the fact the unit was not as advertised. He wanted proof from me. I also had to do quite a bit of work myself to receive a full refund. Brandon was responsive, but he asked me to contact VRBO. So I basically had to do the work.
Clean, safe, quiet, comfortable!!!! Recommend bring own pillows. Asked Brandon for best local places to eat: Sunny Point, and Twisted Laurel. Both VERY GOOD!!
The Host: Very responsive before and throughout the stay.
The Stay: The sign is past the mailbox and on the smaller side but we figured it out! Instructions were provided for getting in, we just struggled due to human error really lol. The inside looks exactly like the photos. It's more so basement than apt. There were ppl staying above us, which was not a problem. There's a smart cleaning robot. It cleaned the day we arrived and got settled. There's a book full of information about the stay, surrounding area, and Asheville. It's not too far from stores and about 20 mins from Asheville.
Issues: We only had one issue, which required some assistance from the guests above us and the host assisted as quickly as he could.
Overall, pretty nice stay. I'd book again :)
We had a 7 night stay at this property. It is newly remodeled & decorated. It’s clean, feels fresh. The couch and bed are comfortable. Appliances are new and functional. The bathroom is a nice size. Location is very rural but still only 15 min from downtown Asheville. There is a dog in the main residence upstairs; it barks more than we would have liked but wasn’t a major issue.
We appreciated the touches provided like plenty of dishes and glasses, oatmeal and coffee provided, and an air mattress available.
Brandon is very responsive - appreciated! Check out process is very simple.
To take this from 4 stars to 5, here are some suggestions (especially for those staying longer than a day or two):
- chairs and a lighter so you can actually use the fire pit (wood was provided)
- ice trays (it gets very old not having ice)
- more than 4 forks and 3 spoons (we were constantly hand washing)
- a set of plastic hangers (currently just a few, mostly bent and flimsy wire hangers)
- Kleenex
Thanks!
Perfect spot for my girlfriend and I to spend the weekend. The place was clean and just as described. Comfy bed, clean linens, and privacy. Can’t ask for much else.
We stayed 2 nights in order to attend a family wedding. We initially were not going to attend due to the travel distance from home and the expense of paying for a place to stay. This property was so reasonably priced we were able to attend the wedding and stay 2 nights! No complaints and couldn't have been more pleased. Would gladly book again!
