Family get away

We enjoyed the cabin and the property very much. Surprised by how big and beautiful the cabin was. Most of our meals were out on the deck and the firepit was very nice. I would difinitely recommend this property to other people.

College Roommate Reunion

Lucky View Lodge was the perfect setting for 4 college roommates to get together for the first time in 50+ years to celebrate birthdays and catch up. It was wonderful -- and just as it looks in the online images. It has a beautiful view on a serene lake with great accommodations. We each had our own bedroom, and made use of the screened-in porch, the comfy living and dining rooms, and ate lunch every day on the attached deck. The recently remodeled kitchen was impressively stocked with whatever you might need for cooking in. We grilled and ate in two nights and treated ourselves to dinner out at the Balsam Lake Lodge for the third night. We really enjoyed sitting around the firepit or out on the dock, chatting and watching all the lake activity, especially all the bald eagle, osprey and great blue heron fishing and flying over all day every day. They were amazing! Our host Amy was in touch with us every day to make sure we didn't need anything which was much appreciated. We all loved it and would visit again in a heartbeat!

My name is Amy and my husband and I have had our eye on this log cabin for several years prior to it coming available and our purchase. We bought this cabin as our retirement home, and until we get to that point, we would like to share it with others. The property was built in the 1980's and was featured in Architectural Digest . We partially remodeled the bathrooms and the whole kitchen in 2022. The countertops throughout the house are all different spectacular granite, that make the cabin truly unique. The log cabin is special and we are looking for renters that appreciate the "Lucky View" that it offers and the quiet charm. We have a family of bald eagles that nest in the back portion of the property and perch on the huge pine tree next to the house. It's amazing to see the eagles on the lake. This place is special. The property is best suited for smaller groups and families.
