The story continues inside, with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths that are charmingly decorated in farmhouse decor, with all the modern upgrades.
The master bedroom features a king size bed, extra pillows and a private door that leads out to the hot tub and outdoor shower. The master bath has a large soaking tub with large windows that look out to the backyard. The primary closet contains a full-size washer and dryer, and antique nursery with a full size crib for the youngest guests of Betty Jo.
The secondary bedroom features light and airy bedding, a full size bath with a large walk in shower.
The backyard Oasis boast a hot tub, fire pit, outdoor grill, gazebo, glowing string lights and plenty of shade beneath the towering Live Oak Trees. The property is perfectly suited for a couples getaway, family vacation or any small celebration.

This is the perfect place to stay for a getaway to Dripping Springs and Wimberley. We plan on making this an annual trip and will be booking the Betty Jo again and again!

Amazing property and location!

This house was adorable! It was just enough room for our little girls trip and the perfect location for many local spots. This property would be perfect for small family get togethers (larger ones once the other building is all finished). The backyard is well kept and spacious and the outdoor kitchen is so convenient. Lee Ann was a fantastic host who was very responsive! We loved staying here and will definitely do so again!

This home was by far the most beautiful place we have stayed. Our host Lee Ann was very accommodating, and prompt with all communication. The home is exactly how it looks in the pictures but so much better. Very very clean, and we were so pleased with that. The hot tub was a huge plus! Looking forward to our next stay for sure.

The place was so cute and roomy and exactly as shown. I was glad that there was no one at Buffalo Gals (the neighboring property) because I don’t think I understood the shared property but that wasn’t an issue with no one there. It would be a great option thought if you had a larger party and wanted to stay together. The surrounding neighborhood may not be what one would expect but even so it was so quiet at night (except for Friday or Saturday night with a little local bar and band but they close up at like 11 pm) and it thought that the small local places were very interesting.

Very well done

Unlike some short term rentals this house feels like a home. The attention to detail is excellent. The cleanliness is obvious. The beds and linens are very comfortable. Another very nice aspect to this home is that we had control of the temperature. A very much appreciated bonus. The communication with management/owner was pleasant and prompt.

Cozy, quiet, close to shops and coffee

Our host thought of everything! From coffee, creamer etc, small candies, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tissues in every room (this was great!). Also laundry supplies. The house was clean and cozy, the beds were comfy. The hot tub was a real bonus. The back yard was spacious and we had breakfast in the veranda (didn't use the grill). It is a short walk to coffee and BBQ and there were cute shops. A wonderful place! Thank you so much for being so thoughtful and sharing it with us!!!

We were so pleased with this property! It felt like home, as soon as we walked thru the door. This home and property, has so much to offer for a truly relaxed vacation. The hot tub was the “icing on the cake”!!! The start to a truly restful night. The host(hostess) was in contact with us each day, to address any needs (there were none). Dream Stay

I walked in the door and immediately I was blown away by the charm and warm inviting feel the house had. We didn’t arrive until dark so I was not able to see the front yard until the next morning and realized that’s where the charm truly begins. I walked around the house and each room was better then the next. Then the pièce de ré sistance came when we entered the gorgeous backyard. It was magical and a perfect area for my grandchildren to play safely. This home is perfect for a long weekend getaway but even better for an extended stay. We will definitely be reserving this home again in the future and have already recommended it to others. The Betty Jo was dreamy.

Tucked Away Gem

Dad and I came to Drippings Springs to visit family and wanted a comfortable space with lots of room for each of us. I have stayed at other properties and the pictures you see on this site are beautiful but "Betty Jo" was beyond our expectations. Clean, bright, comfortable beyond of what I could have imagined. Back yard with pavilion gives you lots of room a perfect place for family gathering, celebration, cook out or just relaxing. Honestly once we arrived it was hard for me to leave, and to be so comfortable anywhere else. Beautifuly decorated. A home that should be in a Better Homes and Garden show case. Owner Lee Ann, was the best hostess ever, so accommodating, and friendly. We hope to plan another trip next year and we would not stay anywhere else. Tucked away in the historical district, quiet and off the beaten path, we wanted a quiet place away from other people and our own space to visit with family. Love this place, we will be back.

Betty Jo was built in 1941 and I named this house in honor of my mom.
Sitting in the backyard and watching the birds here is so peaceful.
I hope you enjoy your time here as well.

Sharing this property with others is a joy because it is the perfect home base to explore Dripping Springs and the surrounding Hill Country. The backyard is quiet and tranquil, but the historic downtown area is right out the front door.
